Did you know you can sort your forum view?

Topic started on 10-3-2004 @ 05:09 PM by SkepticOverlord

A lot of new members are unaware of this rather unique feature of ATS. When you view the threads of a forum, you can sort the display by threat title, author name, replies, and views.

So in any given forum, you can easily see the most replied or most viewed threads.

Try it... you'll like it.

1. Why are you so cool?

2. What did you use to make that graphic?

3. How do you make your avatars multiple and random?

Extra Bonus Question:

What the #, Donny?

No.... it's "Shut the F--- up Donny."
Or, "Donny, you're out of your element."

1- I find it impossible not to be cool.

2- Photoshop.

3- Secret. Where there is mystery, there is fear.

Can we just steer this thread in a whole new direction?
The Dude takes precedence.

I can't argue the first two, but number 3 should have been...

So you have no frame of reference here, Donny. You're like a child who wanders into the middle of a movie and wants to know...

Hi,

How do I sort by the date of the first posting of a thread?

Why? While updates to existing threads are critically important, it would be nice to sort to see "breaking news" (newly created threads) either ascending or descending.

Thanks much,
Adonsa

That IS cool. But when I click on the "d" next to "Author" I get the following-

You have an error in your SQL syntax. Check the manual that corresponds to your MySQL server version for the right syntax to use near 'O AND t.score <> 'no' RDER BY author DESC LIMIT 0, 50' at line

Everything else seems to be working fine. Just FYI...
