Though I agree with Intrepid's first definition.

Every time I've had an a question about aircraft, I've always deferred to Zaps' encyclopedic knowledge. The man knows his planes. There really isn't much more that I can say .... other than CONGRATULATIONS Zap.

I can't think of a better member than Zap to be an aircraft FSME. The man knows his planes. He eats plane rivets, he drinks jet fuel and he barely sleeps because he has a passenger seat from an airliner as a bed. This man loves planes and everyone knows it .... mostly because he runs around with arms stretched out and he always is running from place to place yelling "zoom zoom".

Grats! you should have gotten this long ago due to your knowledge level of aircraft alone. Thanks for always keeping the discussion focused and presenting information that, in some cases, noone else knows or thinks to bring up. You deserve it!

Thanks again everyone. BT, I'll have you know that it's a BUSINESS class seat, which means that it folds flat into a real bed.

I'll be back longer term next week once I can get my internet connection straightened out. Then I can start playing with the buttons and figuring things out.

About time

On the few times I go into ATS Chat, Zaphod is always in there talking about aircraft... definately a subject matter expert
