USAF in the early '80s. Worked in electronics/radio repair.
Honestly, I thought it was pretty much a joke.
I still don't see how they ever get anything done.

Guess I never got any of that "esprit de corps" stuff.

Australia! I love that place, other than the USA, thats the only place I would love to live in. I spent 45 days in Darwin on joint deployment with the RAAF. I went to Kakadu National Park.

Also I got to go to Sydney and that wild Kings Cross district, that place is wild and crazy, I had a lot of good times there. Almost got to go to New Zealand but had to go back to work.

I was in the 508 Parachute Infantry Regiment, A Company 2nd squad of the 82nd Airborne Division at Fort Bragg NC. I just got out out about 2 years ago. I live in Virginia now and I sure don't miss Fayettenam. that place sucks!

My work place was located near SWICC. I sure don't miss the damn DFAC. That food sucked!

326th Training Squadron (Jan 02 - Feb 02) - Basic Training (Lackland AFB, TX)

363rd Training Squadron (Feb 02 - June 02) - Nuclear Munitions School (Sheppard AFB, TX)

5th Munitions Squadron/91st Space Wing - (June 02 - December 07) - 2W271 - Nuclear Weapons Specialist (Minot AFB, ND)

434th Services Squadron (Dec 07 - Current) - 3M071 - Services NCO (Grissom ARB, IN)

I am currently a SSgt (E-5) in the Air Force. I put that on in mid 2006. I started because I had an intense interest in nuclear weaposn technology and the aptitude for the job. I trained in Texas and moved to beautiful, sunny Minot, North Dakota where I worked on Cruise Missiles and was then reassigned to work the Minuteman III ICBM project. After my six years were up I moved to Services and retrained to be a chef and that is where I am now.

I adore my military service and my 2W2 career was a blast...no pun intended

USS Cowpens
USS Arctic
COMSURFWARDEVGRU

Feet went flat running in the sand in Coranado, ended up in Little Creek and put out on a medical. I noticed the boots they issue now are a hell of alot better than the goodyear retreads with leather I was issued. Outstanding!!!
