Hi Shock,
Did I say I was posting in an hour a few hours ago.
Well, there was an impromptu nacho/fajita/corona delivery soooooo.
I'll be posting right after my nap though, so you better watch out for that.

What a weekend.

I need a drink...or two.

Doesn't matter what they are.

I second that.

A hectic weekend and now I need refreshment.

A nice cold lager for me, and a shot (make it a double, no ice) of drambuie.

And then a couple of good meaty burgers or a nice piece of rump steak medium rare.

Bloody vegans

Sorry, too many orders.

I did install a communal cask over there in the corner however (free steins by the fire)

Ooooooo, is that Retsina?

I loooooove Retsina!
I'll get the olives and the feta.
Be right back.

Why yes, I do believe it is Retsina, eh-hem. I'll go and fetch the mop, the damn thing is leaking. Either that or I'll have to hire another team of goblins to move it outside.

Just put a tall glass where it's leaking and keep handing it over when it's full.

Let's also get a barrel of Ouzo to complete the genre.

Now, where's my octopus?

Now, where's my octopus?

I just know I'm going to regret asking this, but...

Why an octopus?

I was afraid you were going to go there.

I've tried some kind of tentacled creature in a couple of Thai dishes once. It was akin to chewing rubber. *shudder* Needless to say, I didn't care for the texture at all, but considering it was a big client dinner I smiled and went mmmmmmmm.

What a good looking question.

Retsina + Ouzo +
= yum yum.

Shock, if you "beat" your octopus well and good it won't have that rubbery consistency.

Why yes.
I whip a great octopus.
I make other Greek specialties too.
Have anything in mind as your main course?

Are you able to make a traditional Yiros?

Or is there a specific Yiros recipe?

I might not care for octopi, but I love falafels with a cucumber/yogurt salad on the side. Now I'm hungry.
