Eye transplant should more specifically be called as Corneal transplant. Only the front transparent portion of the eye, the cornea is
transplanted. The whole eye is not transplanted.
We have heard of heart, kidney, bone marrow transplants. But you will be surprised, Corneal transplants are the most frequent and one of the most
successful transplant operations!
Human tissue cannot be manufactured in factories. If someone needs a new cornea, someone needs to donate it.
The request for eye donation is made on the driver's license. It can be made to relatives/ friends during life or at the time of death.

Blind people are blind in sight, not in imagination
They still dream. And they often have vision in their dreams! Depending on what age they lost their vision. If they were born blind... well it should
just be auditory, etc.

I watched this movie the other day...the cellular memory they talked about in the film is the hypothesis that different personal traits are stored in
the cells not only in the brain. Thus allowing the cellular memory in the previous donor's eye to be transplanted along with the eye.
I believe that if you take a key and open up a door in your brain you will allow yourself to gravitate towards whatever you wish.
Whatever you focus on will manifest itself into your reality
For example, I always perceive the beauty of everything because its all the same energy and I feel that Im connected with everything. I see auras
around every thing and have noticed that I have more senses than just five. I imagine it and it manifests..its very simple and very complicated at the
same time.
You have the key to open whichever door you want...
have fun

There was a program here in Australia talking about patients who had transpants (heart, eye, liver etc) who had taken on characteristics of the doner.
It was pretty freaky. I'll see if I can find a link. Not sure if I am 100% sold, but it was certainly interesting.

Alright, you must be really really young, do not know how to type, or have really poor English skills. I had a hard time figuring out anything you
have been asking, but here is what I have to offer you.
As you have posted, we do not transplant the whole eye. I work closely with the eye and tissue bank here in NY. They collect eyes (the whole eye)
and then the cornea or lens is used on a recipient.
A lot of folks have cataracts and glaucoma so a new lens will help them tremendously.
I do believe that there is constant study on whole eye transplantation. At least there is at the hospital I work at.

The eye can also be a source to determine what ailment you have.
NOW THIS IS WEIRD:

Not at this point. The neural network from the eye to the brain is so significant, that it is impossible to hook it up.

No, they don't. The cornea is just a transparent surface, made to keep stuff out of the eye.
I'm taking a course at the university (I study biology), where we go into detail on neural networks, and the different senses the body has. During
our lunch periods, we have actually discussed that, if one were able to transplant neural networks, it would be quite trivial to hook up certain
specialised tissues (Like the eye for instance), up to other neural networks in the body and get quite hilarious results.
You have to remember here, that the various sensing tissues (Eye, touch, smell) are basically receptors for various physical stimuly in our
surroundings, that are being transducted into electrical signals in the nerves, and sent to the brain.
So you could hook up a chili smell receptor to you knee-tendons neural network, and each time you'd put chili on your knee, the leg would kick. Quite
hilarious, and its just an example.
We actually discussed these things on a more serious level, how you could regulate your hormone levels. In theory its quite simple, but in practice it
is impossible at this point.

I would really advice you to use your computers spell checker.. It is a pain trying to figure out what you post..
But eyes are very fragile. Basically, the eye is more or less a large ball filled with fluid. If you 'pop it', you get a serious chance of getting
an infection in the eye. And if you get an infection in an eye, you have to get it ambutated, due to the risc that the immune system will also attack
the other eye and you will get blind.
