Probably the same reason that the government did a lotr of things like let Pearl Harbor happen and either let it happen or helped planned the attack on the USS Liberty.

11. Four days before 9/11, Jeb Bush activated the Florida National Guard, "Based on the potential massive damage to life and property that may result from an act of terrorism at a Florida port." (Executive Order 01-261).

12. On 9/11 Jeb Bush declared a "State of Emergency" in Florida (E.O. 01-262). "I hereby delegate to the Department of Law Enforcement the operational authority to coordinate and direct the law enforcement resources and other resources of any and all state, regional and local governmental agencies..." And by 2am on 9/12/01, Jeb Bush was reported to have confiscated the police records in Venice, FL related to the Huffman Aviation flight school. Two rental trucks full of these records drove onto a C-130 military aircraft at Sarasota Airport and flew out with Jeb Bush aboard.

13. Huffman Aviation flight school, where Mohamed Atta and other alleged hijackers trained, had a Lear jet seized by the DEA with "43 pounds of heroin" onboard. No one was ever prosecuted in connection with the "biggest drug seizure in central Florida history."

14. The National Commission on Terrorist Attacks on the United States ("9/11 Commission") was a blatant and obvious cover-up under the control of Bush administration member and "Executive Director" Phillip Zelikow. This cover-up can be proven easily with one example: the time of Dick Cheney's arrival at the Presidential Emergency Operations Center ("PEOC bunker"). Secretary of Transportation Norman Mineta testified under oath that Cheney was present at 9:20am and issuing "orders" related to the plane that struck the Pentagon. Mineta's testimony was completely omitted from their final report, and a fraudulent time of 9:58am for Cheney's arrival was given instead (book pg 40 / .pdf file pg 57).

Thank you TrueAmerican for the link, it was good reading. Some of the very same things I've talked about were there. How can ANY Debunker even question these Professionals? I would not be surprised if some of these True Americans mysteriously have a heart attack or something else. To me these people completely debunk even the most hardened debunker.

Answering your question, "what do I know about counter soldiers?"
I know that soldiers follow orders, and that's honorable; but some of
my friends who have served, said that in the event of martial law, they
would NOT shoot fellow Americans, in a bad-case scenario. Someone
will have to be violating another citizen in a criminal manner, or be
stupid enough to threaten them FIRST; before pulling the trigger.

You're probably smart enough to realize how many 'counter soldiers'
there potentially are on a website like this, also. Just plain good people
who are fed-up with the insanity of our administrations in the last 40 to
50 years, and all the war-mongering mentallity that has diminished the
rest of the world's respect for the U.S.A.

Soldiers who think for themselves, kind of like you & me, huh? (you
don't have to have served to be a soldier). Just smart and concerned for
your country, and willing to take some kind of stand against facsism,
tyranny, dictatorship, and to defend the constitution against ANY threat.

More specifically, I cannot be specific, in such an open forum. but to
give you some idea- think about all the different specialized skills that
soldiers posess; now imagine a break in ranks if crap hits the fan...
maybe sort of a civil war WITHIN the war machine itself! Or desertion,
or worse...

Sorry there, EYEOFEAGLE, I was eager to post, before clicking on
your profile; WELCOME to Above Top Secret! You haven't filled it in yet,
maybe for your eagerness to start asking questions, like myself, (I like
that in a person), but perhaps a little more reading in these threads will
start to give you an idea that we're all trying to ask AND answer such
vast and difficult inquiries, through talking back & forth with eachother,
and presenting factual information mixed with personal opinions.

Great Question! My theory on 'motive' -

Just one little ingredient, in my opinion, of a possible motive for the
horrible crime of September 11th, 2001:

IF our gov. was in on the attack...

I noticed, in the weeks before 9/11, a man named Harvey Pitt (former
head of the Securities and Exchange Commission) was making firm
statements about wanting to investigate insider-trade accusations against
some very large persons. ie, Bush, Cheney, you get the idea. And he
was attracting alot of attention to himself with his zeal; appearing on shows
like 'Meet the Press' with Tim Russert, who I consider to be a 'good guy',
because he asks difficult questions to higher-ups, and exposes on
national TV how they mostly dance around the question with NO answers
really coming forth. Anyway, It caught my attention, you-know, it
appeared to be some "hope" in catching the big fish in criminal acts...
Well he just dissappeared from the scene, then BAM! 9/11! ( I hope he's
out there, somewhere, and not permanantly gone )!

Where were the actual documents of the SEC kept, to serve as evidence
in any case against people or companies accused of SEC violations?

In the former World Trade Center towers!

Wow... Another tidbit to toss out here, John O'Niel, former head of the
F.B.I. counter-terrorist task force, was fired for "misplacing" his
briefcase and cell phone, at a bar frequented by him & his cronies;
BEFORE that incident, he was the only one warning of increased probab-
ility of an attack against the U. S. A., specifically by jet aircraft!

He was later hired as head of security for the W.T.C., and died in the
tragedy ! ! ! ! ! ! !

Coincidence? research it for yourself, I only know what I remember,
my good man.

You know, that's probably one of the best questions asked in here, and it seems the debunkers don't have too much of an answer. This thread never did get too many naysayers, and I am resurrecting it cause I'd like to see some. I mean what do you say to all these very credible and reputable people who are asking the tough questions and making the damning points?

Olbermann's recent statement that "Bush allowed 911 to happen" is probably the understatement of the century.

Well, I mean whose names were tied to the stocks that made a ton of money off the attacks happening?

What happened to that investigation?

You can't tell me that of all the people who made money betting on a disaster that day, that not one person had inside knowledge and wagered their money innocently on something that had the most astronomical odds against it happening.

Talk about blood money, I hope their consciouses eats them alive.

I think whoever they are, they remain silent. Smart of 'em. The dirty
jackels! You hit on a seldom discussed point, one I was trying to ask in my
post about Harvey Pitt; ex-head of the Securities & Exchange Commission
before the attacks...He was quite riled about abuses by admin officials,
appearing on TV, voicing legitimate concern, then vanished from the
scene!

Sorry you didn't get more replies to your post, but hey, there's a zillion threads to keep up with here. I am sure it's nothing personal.

As to your comment on the put options, and the resulting investigation into that, if I recall correctly they resolved it in their minds as just pretty much due to some previous insider forecasts. The reasoning behind the put options appeared to valid in many cases, and I think that's why most 911 truthers figured there were bigger fish to fry and dropped it.
