There is one special force that rises above the rest(in scotland any how, I'm not talking about the the SBS or even the people from 14th intel, yes ladies and gents you guessed it, its the scottish ambulance service.

Yep the Scottish ambulance guys have to have Spec Forces like skills, especially at chucking out time

But i would say The Debt are way sneakier.

Units that deserve to be mentioned that havent yet ( I think, correct me if I am wrong):

IDF LOTAR: Isreali unit of Krav Maga supermen.

JTF2: Canadian Joint Task Force Two. Formerly the Canadian Airborne.

I agree that the SAS/SBS are likely the best overall SF units.

The Spetznaz are scary in that they have a much looser moral code to adhere to. Basically they can be evil incarnate. The sort of guys not to be messed with because of what they are allowed to do in retribution.

Nah,I think every SF in the world has its own specialities.We couldn't really grade them on how good they are.However,I think its best to judge them when you put every single one of them in a battle field and see how they fair.Pull every allied troops in Iraq out and put these SFs in.See how good they are.

Au contraire, mon ami, any MOS can try out and qualify for Delta training if he has what it takes. They'll train you in the ways of Delta, just like any other MOS.

Speaking of Delta, Col. Beckwith trained with the SAS and GS-G9 (another crack outfit that hails from Germany) and built his idea around what he learned from them.

Who said pilots should be considered the best special forces? US pilots are the worst, ask the Royal Fusiliers how much they like American pilots. Canadians aren't too hot on American targeting either.

In Grenada the SEALs drowned and in Panama Delta got hammered in a firefight. Not good when you tell yourselves you're the best.

The Para Jumpers are seriously hot, though. What's their new name? But that's down to mission, saving, not taking lives. They think differently.

Easy answer. The United States has the best special forces...Delta Force. Delta recruits from the best operators in the world, including Brittish SAS, Navy Seals, Army Rangers, CIA paramilitary, Isreali Mousad, etc.

We'll never know what unit is best, or for what country for that matter.
The best, I'm sure, are covert, operating by their own set of rules, and are robotical in their objectives, regardless of who is in the way. It's hard to believe that a human being can become that conditioned both mentally and physically to accept collateral damage as merely part of the scenery. Then again, there's the Mid-East...

Actually delta was designed along the lines of the SAS charlie beckwith served on an exchange with the SAS were but not necessarily the best cuz units like the SEALS and israeli ones have come along and don't count out marine force reacon either
