what happend to saddam?

maybe someone already posted this or everyone knows exept me, but what about saddam?
"they got him" but that as weeks ago, the UN apossed the death penalty but thats the last thing i heard.
could somone please enlighten me?

I have to say, I have heard sod all about what is happening to him. I heard they were assembling some kind of court to judge him. I don't know anything else really.

Nothing is up with Saddam. Last I heard and read, he is still in that same 8x12 cell, in the same place as he was moved to originally.

Ahh, his crimes weren't that bad. Pretty small scale compared to what the US has done in the past - or other countries for that matter. No need to list them here. Not that I support him or something. He's just a man who was trying to retain authority over everyone, no different then every other leader in the world - his crimes are just brought to the light more in this day and age than others. Putin's having fun exterminating Chechen's right now, but then again, thats not considered a problem now is it (sarcasm)?

A buddy of mine stationed @ Camp Pendelton Marine Corps. base in California said that Saddam was going to be tried IN Iraq and not here in the U.S. That's all I know.
