I prefer to call it a scam since he is selling the coins implying they are one thing when the small print says NOT LEGAL TENDER.

About the coins... Being from Canada, I've seen different kind of coins that sounds really different. This Amero may be a way for an artist to reach out to people, being an intelligent strategy to set the alarm on in people's minds.

It worked obviously cause there is now a thread here about it.

Someone mentioned why would they improve the American dollar and spend money on this if they were to convert the money again.

Here we change the money all of the time. Sometimes twice a year (in Canada) if we find there is a scam being made. If we did not change our money constantly then North Korea for example could copy our money better. We also have fantasy coins that are in circulation and are worth the same kind of money. They are sometimes of athletes for example and are limited so they can gain in value.

As heard in the news lately, Canada will maybe have 5$ coins.

Could this be a way to have a lot of citizens keeping some kind of control or stability over our banking systems? Right now, we have houses, we have money. So a lot of the money is circulating within our countries.

If we ever have electronic money, they can hide a certain amount of the decrease in value of the American dollar and improve the value of the Mexican exchange by getting a common market and economy with Canada cause we have no debts almost. We have a good credit and that's what the US needs right now.

For the one's seeking for an explanations of the advantages of a new currency.

But the real way would be to clean the paper money, the fraud up, assuming this was trading money and make a count of it. Process it through official ways to restore credit to the american dollar.

Then leave Canada alone. We are socialists. We do respect capitalists, we need them but we also need our rights for humans, for workers, etc... Like families like mothers, fathers. Like Haitians like Jewish like Africans like Greeks like Italians, like our grandfathers and grandmothers...

The Ameros are concept coins. Not legal tender. Not fake. They are prototypes. Calling them fake makes it sound like they are not solid. These are made of copper, silver and gold. Collectors items. The North American Union is real. This will be the launching pad for the real thing.
