This question would be a good one to put into a forum where generally skeptics aren't going to be, i.e. in the General Discussion forums of unrelated boards elsewhere (so long as it doesn't violate the terms of those boards, of course).

I know several boards where this kind of discussion is permitted. That would be more representative I think.

Here, you're likely to get few supporters of the official report vs. other forums, so you won't actually find out why people do believe the official story so readily.

3. The day of the attacks, FEMA and other government agencies (including the FBI) were running "drills" in NY to prepare for the disaster. It just happened that FEMA and other disaster groups were there the day the attacks happened, where it happened.

I totally disbelieve in the "official story".

1. People don't understand that the central cores of the WTC towers were built with massive steel beams that wouldn't be compromised by any kind of plane, and would not collapse at free fall speed only after a few hours of low intensity heat.

i tend to disagree with you a lot, and honestly was a bit offended when you called me "idiotic" for a statement i made that it was obvious you just didnt understand...

however i do respect your opinions and admire your conviction, even if i disagree with you

but if this is an attempt to "make a list" cuz you "need to know where people stand" thats just...well...silly. if you are going to ignore people that disagree with you for WHATEVER reason then you are being closed minded. sure, you can sit and discuss things with people that already agree with you and have a warm fuzzy feeling about it and think you are accomplishing something, but you arent. all you are doing is stoking your own ego cuz you can feel that you are right.

if you dont consider other peoples opinions, even if you feel they are idiotic then you are missing a chance to get information that may contrast what you think, you may miss the chance to learn something new and quite honestly, you would just be being ignorant vs denying ignorance.

so, my 2 reasons for feeling that you are wasting your time are:

1: if you cant read peoples posts and figure out where they stand and why then im afraid a list wont help you much anyway

2: this isnt the mccarthy era and you dont have the right to blacklist any of us whether we agree wtih you or not. you say that you want to sort out whos a disinfo agent but yet, were some of us more paranoid we might think that youre the spook trying to get all the people that disagree with the govt on one list for "future reference"

If this question were brought up where there were no skeptics then everyone that responded would pretty much agree that the official explanation is not correct. What would be the point in asking a question that you already know the answer to?

no, not everything in it, but how could they get all aspects of something that has never happened before completely right. Do i believe the conspiracy theories, no, not even close. I believe planes hit the WTC's, and pentagon, and the fourth was shot down. Did the gov't fly planes into buildings...hell no...did they have intel that could have stopped it...maybe. What if planes are flown into skyscrapers again and they collapse too?? Another conspiracy, or just something new that must be studied. Do i believe that the goverment had planes and helicopers in the air after the first impct...hell yes....were they firing missiles...hell no. Will we ever have all of the facts, 100% correct, i extremely doubt it!! Will there always be questions like with JFK, Pearl Harbor, etc. ....yes. Can you make a comspiracy on just about anything....yes. So its all personal opinions, just remember alot of people died that day for no good reason. Just remember, continue to ask questions, and always keep an open mind to conspiracys and the official story because somewhere in between is probably the truth.

so you are basically saying sharing opinions on this topic is none of his business because it brings to light an intelligent way to debate the logic of people's beleif sytstem's and you get to see the weak, the ignorant, and the educated guess's of people

p.s what do you think the ignore button is for, and whose right is it of your's to tell someone who they can and can't ignore, looks like he ignored one person out of 50 that disagrees with him, and you think he just ignores people if they don't beleive him. seems like some people are desperately trying to cling to there own beleif systems

consider this people who believe the government on this one. since 9/11 a good 4 different videos have come out of the pentagon and how many of them show a 757? none. yeah thats right its the most survielled building in this country but some how they cant seem to get any video or photos of a plane for 6 years now. if a cop suspects something he has the right to pull you over and this is suspicious whichever way you look at it

I put one person on ignore and all you people get butt hurt. I wanted to put esdad on ignore long before this thread existed, and his post on my topic was the nail in the coffin. He has nothing good to say, Ive seen all his posts and none of them help the official story, they just create more questions. On top of that esdad lies.

I really don't care at all who believes the official story or not, I just wanted to see why they do, and there best 2 reasons why.

So far, the only reason's to believe the story are really weak. The reason not to believe and their importance really overpower the reasons to believe, and I was hoping the believers would see that with this thread.


Do it... Start from post number 1 and work your way down. Find all the believers and record their reasons for believing. You will find out how weak their reasons are, and laugh.

Let me show you, here is a list of the reasons people believe from page 1 to 6.

1 - All physical, visual and forensic evidence fits with the official story. I have yet to see 1 piece of evidence that shows me that the official story is not in fact true.
2 - It would be too big a conspiracy to be covered up for so long by so many people. People can't help but talk. A secret is only a secret till you tell 1 person, then it will get out...EVERY TIME.

1. Bush pulled this off? (lol)

2. All it would take is one person to squeal and the who lid is blown off.

3. If all they wanted were the twin towers to fall, why even bother putting explosives in WTC 7?

1: too many conspiracy theories that have flawed logic and speculation, so all I have left is the official story

2: the government can pull off 9-11 to go to Iraq, but can't plant WMD's in Iraq. Instead makes itself look like fools.

3: WTC7 was the command center where the government planned to run the attacks from.

4: using explosives on WTC7 would destroy all the evidence of the command center

5: Yet, harddrives were found from other buildings

1.) I seen it with my own eyes. (the planes)

1. Sheikh Muhammed gave an interview to Al Jazeera long before we captured him
2. Al Qaeda has been a pain in our a** since long before 9/11.
3. NYFD members ALL state that they were positive that WTC 7 was going to come down as well from the massive damage to it (WTC 1 hitting it)
4. We are not invincible from a foe that takes the time to study our weaknesses.
5. Friends of mine were present at the Pentagon.....
1. there is NO WAY you could put bombs in any of the towers and not be noticed.
2. all of the "evidence" of bombs, airplanes flying over the pentagon ect. can be explained.
. Determination - Radical Muslims have been trying to inflict damage on us for years...

2. Govt ineptitude - Our govt could not find it's ass with both hands...Dont get me wrong, I'm a true blue American. But if your asking me to believe the same people who brought us Bay of Pigs, Panama and Noriega, The Cole incident...etc...then I dont buy it...nope.

1. I think it's pretty evident that an airplane hit each tower. My question is why they would need explosive charges. Even if the planes wouldn't have taken them completely down to the ground it wouldn't have been worth it to use bombs.

2. It could've been worse. Much worse. I feel that if it was a government plot then the attacks wouldn't have been limited to four aircraft hitting three buildings. We would've seen the White House, Congress, Sears Tower, NYSE, and other locations hit as well.

Just read it and laugh.. seriously, every time I see a beleiver say this:

What I have figured out from this thread, is that most believers are confused. They are letting bad conspiracy theories fog their mind and
they are only believing the official story because they don't believe that the US Government has the ability to silence people, and keep secrets.

In the end, their arguments are really weak compared to all the REAL arguments the nonbelievers have displayed.

I didn't put you on ignore, just claimed I was going to. Why? BECAUSE YOU ARE A LIAR! You claimed that "the majority of the scientific community believes in the official story", without any proof. You are lying to support your claims, and I don't want to deal with people that do that.

When I asked:

1: How many people are in the scientific community?
2: How many people agree with the official story?

You didn't answer, all you did was ask ME to help you figure it out. You asked me how many people in the scientific community disagree with the official story so you can figure out how many agree. You asked me like if I claimed to know in the first place, I never claimed to know.
