So you're saying that science will lead to the destruction of the 'spiritual', a concept which is unproven and ill-defined.

Here's the facts:
Science (aka worldly knowledge/wisdom) has lead to the modern world and all of its wonders, things that would have been considered greater than any miracle in the time of Jesus. It has also expanded our understanding of the universe and instilled in many an awe not found in even the most deeply religious.

Religion (aka "god's wisdom") has lead to...nothing positive that I can think of that is tangible.
