New Portsmouth chief Alain Perrin has conceded that he may turn to his homeland in the summer when recruiting fresh faces.

The Frenchman has enjoyed an excellent start to his new career on the South Coast but is still intent on freshening up the playing staff at Fratton Park.

Perrin admits that six new faces would complement those already at the club - with several big name players yet to have had their future's decided.

Leftovers in the beginning but later other clubs will be kicking themselves that they didnt sign the leftovers.

Perrin has a tendency to sign unknown players and turn them into stars. Look at Drogba.

the reason he hasnt named anyone is cos he doesnt want be beaten to the punch at signing them.

He has his contacts and seems to find decent unknown players. Will be interesting to see who he signs in the summer and how much he gets to spend.
