Been training for a while myself, first style was "Bronx Street"!
Point is, there was no smother, from what I can see. I too have a very high pain threshold and happen to be a "Thumper"; but even if he or I or you were "dusted", a dogpile would have easily isolated parts that could have been broken down until submission - that did not happen. No way that 600 lbs of cop was gonna be tossed around.
