Well the NHL annual All-Star game is on in about 20 minutes, should be a really exciting, high-scoring game.

Any predictions who will be named the MVP???

My guess is Jeremy Roienick of the Flyers. OK, I'm a bit biased but he looked ready to go last night especially acing the accuracy contest and winning it for the 2nd straight year and 3rd in his career.

Hard to believe it's only 1-1 after the first period, I thought there would be about 6 goals by now. Then again, it's Brodeur vs. Turco these guys are facing.

NY Islanders defenseman Adrian Aucoin has the goal for the Eastern Conference with assists by Jagr and Messier (an all New York goal) and Joe Sakic scored for the West with helpers from Canuck teammates Markus Naslund and Todd Bertuzzi.

Brodeur had 10 saves and Turco had 9.

Second period to start in about 5 minutes.

Tomas Voloun for the Western Conference

Jose Theodore for the Eastern Conference

Ottawa forward Daniel Alfredsson just scored an unassisted goal to put the East up 2-1 early second period.

I think the NHL is the most exciting All-Star game of all sports, basketball is usually exciting too.

Anyone plan on watching the Pro Bowl tonight? Damn, wish I was in Hawaii.

Man, what a great game. Scoring, saves, end to end action!

Awesome!

I will be watching the Pro Bowl, hope Dante Hall can return a kick for a TD!
