I have to say, I've been thinking about this avatar for a while. At first, I really didn't like it, to be honest. And then, it grew on me. I found myself thinking about it in my spare time, and I began to look forward to seeing it. It's quite clever, and my final decision is that it's one of the more entertaining avis that I've seen on ATS in a long time. You should title yourself "The Tin Luchador!!!"

Your Thanksgiving theme may be slightly lost on me, as you would know we don't do that one here in the UK, guess back then the pilgrims were thankful they made it out of this country! (it pretty much sucked back then)

I can see the crashed UFO - but I don't get why the turkey is black?

I'm guessing you put it together your self - looks good, on the grounds that I'm probably missing a point I give 9/10

As for the turkey, I was afraid of that.

Zoom in on it a bit, and maybe adjust the contrast and screen brightness.

It's the alien, from the movie "Alien". I chopped it up in photoshop, took the head, the chest, the shoulder and upper-arm and re-arranged it to make a "turkey"...

...ie, there's a crashed UFO in the background, and they're serving up a dead alien as Thanksgiving dinner, after a "Victory". The rest of the story is up to the viewer.

Elli, I really dig your Avatar. It's clean, funny, subtle, original, and thematic to the season. 9.75. Only thing keeping it from a 10 is that the contrast on it is a tad on the hazy side, which conflicts with the crisp lettering, but that's seriously nitpicking on my part. I think it's a dang fine avatar, and knowing you made it yourself is very impressive.

You need to take a moment and really look at this avatar to truly appreciate the detail of it. With Thanksgiving around the corner, and our skeptical nature.. I think that avatar is a perfect fit.
