is it about how much food one can eat in a lifetime?
is it about how much money one can make in one lifetime?
is it about how much sex one can have in one lifetime?
is it about how many people you get over in one lifetime?
is it about how much knowledge one can amass in one lifetime...
is it about worshipping dieties?
is it about knowing oneself?
is it about knowing others?
is it about understanding yourself?
is it about understanding others?
is it about anything at all?
is it about everything and all between?
is it about justice?
is it about righteousness?
is this just an experiment?
is life just observation?

Life is about experiencing. We are only here for a brief amount of time, live while you can. Have a good time, make the most of the time that you are here.

You regret the things you didn't do more than the things you did do.

then why are people taught to feel bad for experiencing?

"then why are people taught to feel bad for experiencing?"

We have a conscience and morals. We try to experience within the context of our own set of morals as much as possible. It is true that others try to instill their morals upon us, they only become our morals if we choose to accept them.

It is our conscience and morals that hold our society together.

Experiencing does not have to mean doing things that are illegal and immoral. It does not have to be Jimi Hendrix's version.

It can be visiting other countries, trying a new sport, meeting new people, going to the opera, any number of things that you think you might like to experince.

does ones experiencing while impeading on another life constitute bad morals?

Too me it might. It depends on the situation. I can't dictate your morals, you have to decide for yourself.

What is inside you can move mountains, that is nothing compared to more.

We can percieve more in every way

We can touch the creator.

would one be safe to assume self internalization of what is and not is the way?

1. Survival.
2. Finding purpose.
3. Finding peace.
4. Sharing pleasure.
5. Dying well.

Does there need to be one 'way'?

Without traveling, we could know the world.
Without looking through the window, we could see the Tao of heaven.
The farther you go, the less you know.
Thus the sage knows without traveling.
He knows things without actually seeing them.
He success without effort.

Given the parallels would sugest, this item presented by Lao Tzu be treated not as the result of ignorance.

Any thoughts?
