Perhaps we're supposed to not pay as close attention to the tags as we have been. Maybe that's why they're gone now..

That's funny. I really did
So, the speculation about points being awarded for "being on the right track" is a false alarm. Nice. Then I'm sorry to bring this back.

Thats alright. Just my observation, as ATS never announced a points award for participating in the survey.

That sounds like the best answer to me.

I think they purposefuly took the tag box away. It was useless anyway. I don't think the tag with this long name for some clinical procedure was added by someone from above, it could have been an unaware member.

Ok have another sugestion, being that google analytics seems to use these sties, maybe we should submit the link to all of these search engines. anyone for a try ?
Here is the code which makes an array for the code to loop thrugh later:

//-- Auto/Organic Sources and Keywords
var _uOsr=new Array();
var _uOkw=new Array();
_uOsr[0]="google"; _uOkw[0]="q";
_uOsr[1]="yahoo"; _uOkw[1]="p";
_uOsr[2]="msn"; _uOkw[2]="q";
_uOsr[3]="aol"; _uOkw[3]="query";
_uOsr[4]="lycos"; _uOkw[4]="query";
_uOsr[5]="ask"; _uOkw[5]="q";
_uOsr[6]="altavista"; _uOkw[6]="q";
_uOsr[7]="search"; _uOkw[7]="q";
_uOsr[8]="netscape"; _uOkw[8]="query";
_uOsr[9]="earthlink"; _uOkw[9]="q";
_uOsr[10]="cnn"; _uOkw[10]="query";
_uOsr[11]="looksmart"; _uOkw[11]="key";
_uOsr[12]="about"; _uOkw[12]="terms";
_uOsr[13]="excite"; _uOkw[13]="qkw";
_uOsr[14]="mamma"; _uOkw[14]="query";
_uOsr[15]="alltheweb"; _uOkw[15]="q";
_uOsr[16]="gigablast"; _uOkw[16]="q";
_uOsr[17]="voila"; _uOkw[17]="kw";
_uOsr[18]="virgilio"; _uOkw[18]="qs";
_uOsr[19]="teoma"; _uOkw[19]="q";

I still show '71'

EDIT:

Ooops. You already knew that.

About the search engines, I suggested that, but I dunno how to 'submit a link' to a search engine.

As far as the counter goes, im pretty sure that it is updated manually. If you look at the code, the r# is hard-coded, with no logic or any signs of php or asp or anything like that.

It just jumped to 78.

It's at r78. Going up, but slower than earlier.

kuhn I believe mentioned he added it in ... and I found the answer by directly clicking on it and finding the thread number ... that was the answer to #29.

They WERE useful in the past. Maybe they aren't useful now (or too many people are putting in BS tags).

It says r78 now. It shouldn't be too long now if we really do have to wait till it says 101.

I really need to refresh my page before I post!

Are we sure that 101 is our target?

This is why I believe the tag box was removed.

This was just moved up to the top of BQB:

I don't think we're sure about anything really. It's just been hinted at a few times that something needs to be 101. The counter is just the most logical option.

So I just managed to trick google into giving me a link to

thefinalanswertoeverything.com

I wonder if we can use the same technique on other sites?

You all know that if you search for a domain that google doesn't recognize, it will give you a link to it anyways? This will work for getting a refferal from google for the game site. I wonder if the other search engines have similar functions? If they do, then we can go around to different engines and search for the domain, thus tricking the enigne into giving us a referal link.

As long as we keep clearing our cookies, we can rack up another twenty or so sites pretty quickly. Does anyone else know how to do this sort of thing on the other search engines?
