I've seen how this country treats its active soldiers (radiation poisoning because of DU bombs, sickness from anthrax vaccine,etc) and veteran soldiers (25 billion cut from the VA and hiding benefits from veterans)...like crap! Hell, Bush hasn't even been to ONE funeral for the soldiers that died in Iraq.

Not a chance in Hell I would join this military.

Luke 6 is interesting.

In a perfect world it would work and be a great thing.

But in satan's world of chaos it is unworkable.

That is the problem, to truly be a christian you are destroying yourself and you must renounce this world.

Otherwise you have to fight with the rest of the scum to survive.

Which is it? Can I fight and still be a christian?

If I leave this world, am I leaving it to satan and his friends and followers?

given the chance in community today, it would cause so much destruction in the world, a lot more than whats happening now to say the least...

have had people tell me in the past that Christ was a socialist.

but Christ did not say that wealthy people could not or should not exist, he only said that their beliefs and lifestyle and lack of faith would not allow them to enter heaven.

he advocated that people freely give and he did not like the idea of tax, remember the comments about give unto ceasar what are his? Connotation that evil things belong to evil men.

The only way socialism could exist in some form is under a pure and divine leadership with good intention that is more concerned with spreading love and understanding and enlightenment than physical wealth.

money corrupts and that is why Luke 6 does not work, so few if any on this earth are able to ignore the lure of wealth.
