men can breastfeed? I had no idea

I'm not coming at this from an "OMG, that's not culturally acceptable!" standpoint, I honestly had no idea this was physically possible. anyone know any guy who has done this?

I've seen the apparatus that men strap on with a pair of teats to breastfeed cow's milk or even the mother's milk, to at least give the father the experience, pathetic though it may be.

But I have never seen a lactating man.

Actually, I don't want to. But it kind of explains what men's nipples are for I guess. In a nonsense kind of way.

I've seen some men who had boobs big enough to possibly be able to breast feed.

I didnt know it was possible til Magestica enlightened me.
Apparently its a gland or something that both male and female have. And a man can make himself lactate

actually, moobs is a medical condition called gynecomastia. really. again, don't ask how I know. you don't want to know.

I breast fed all three of my children for just over a year.I don't really want to imagine my husband breast feeding but I suppose that it if was a natural occurance we wouldn't think twice about it. It would make sence though really for them to do it as babies would benefit from gaining immunities to disease and allergies from both parents.

Aren't males supposed to be genetically incomplete females? That certainly would be reason enough for males to be able to lactate.

This is pretty disturbing. Don't male babies also produce milk sometimes? I think it's due to estrogen in their system that make them produce milk...

It's amazing how many people don't know this Although I have no hard evidence to back it up I heard quite a while ago that often men in prison camps during the war were known to begin lactating, something about their nutrition or lack thereof. Interesting if not a bit off putting.

Because your mother has breasts.

We are the product of two sexes. We get traits from both.
Females all have an underdeveloped penis, only we call it the clitorus. But just the same, it becomes erect when aroused.

I have heard that all fetuses are female in the first part of development. If someone can back this up with a link, or more info that would be great.

And if Lysergic ever gets his "man milk" up on ebay, I think I'll pass.
