Rosslyn Chapel code cracked?

Actually to the poster that spoke about the cat and the frequency having healing properties, there is a very similar concept in binaural audio feedback.

A while back I dated a girl, and things didn't work out but we remained friends, at any rate she was always gullible so when she started talking to me about this I kind of laughed at her, and said that it was all placebo effect, and a result of her belief causing a reality for her, until I tried it myself.

and it has different programs you can buy downloads of that produce different effects in you from increased alertness,to mirroring somewhat the effects of chemical substances, to putting your brain on the frequencies that it is in in alpha,theta etc brainwaves, to relaxation etc, it is a pretty cool program.

The long and short of my rambling is that by nature I am a VERY skeptical person, and before I believe in anything, I require proof, I went into trying the program convincied that it didn't work, and was very surprised to find that it did.

There is so much about the mind and body that we do not understand, and I find this binaural feedback interesting.

Some may believe that but we certainly dont know that.
There is no more proof of that than any other theory and probably less when you consider the sources.

Manley Palmer Hall was 21 and not a Mason when he wrote most of his books and admits that his knowledge of Freemasonry was limited to a few pamphlets he had read. He simply parroted what he read in other books which were mostly speculation and hoodoo to begin with. A 21 year old with limited life experiance who just regurgitates what he reads does not a scholar make.

That being said I have all his books and enjoy reading them if only for the entertainment value.

Cagliostro was a fraud. Levi made some interesting points but he speaks of magic and not of Masonry. Hartmann was a bit of a space cadet IMO who saw what he wanted to. The rest I havent read completly or at all.

Dont get me wrong. I believe that even if your interpretation is not the one that was intended if it has meaning to you then that is all that matters.
I just want to point out that the origins of Fremasonry are open to speculation and interpretation and the Hermetic origins appear to be the most speculative do to the more..."imaginitive" nature of the sources.

On the whole most Masons are not hard core Esoterics and those that are are a small minority albeit a very vocal and somewhat elitist one.

Though harmonics are a very powerful thing, I don't believe anything will happen when they play the music.

I've noticed that there are 13 geometric patterns carved, yet only 12 notes to an octave. How can an extra pattern (note) fit into the tune? Maybe someon with bettter musical knowledge could explain this. Perhaps the 13th denotes the correct octave?

I also noticed that the carvings on the cubes sometimes overlap the edges. This also seems odd, as the center ofthe pattern will be on the corner, rather than being centered on one face, as some are. I wonder why this is?

Rosslyn is surrounded by the rich history of the freemasons and most noticably the knights templar. Looking at google earth I cant help but notice there is a lake just east of the sacristy... Anyone fancy going for a swim? Something tells me that lake is man made and probably hides the way into the lower half of the chapel. There is said to be stairs inside that lead down to the crypt below but they are sealed off with a wall. I thought freemasons always dug two entrances into somewhere, or have I been watching too much national treasure?

Also it's worth mentioning hitler himself spent time looking for the Arc and it's noted in history that one poor indervidual who sought to steady it on his horse and cart was struck dead instantly.

So if people want to go down there and start digging it up, I say let them!

So the question remains, what's in the box, the staff Moses struck a rock with bringing forth water was undoubtedly one of the staves use to carry the box. I would even hazard a guess that that's how you remove the lid, using the two stave's on either side.

Seems a little strange that God would hand down his word written on a stone tablet (Didnt he have any paper?). More likely that it's some kind of harmonic weapon which can be used to smite unbeliever's, part the red sea and is probably so dangerous it should probably stay buried.

What better way to inspire the faithless than smiting a few of them just so they all get the message, "dont **ck with God."

What do you mean it is going to be played on the 18th? Where is it going to be played and how do you know? I think too many of us here have been watching to many Indiana Jones and National Treasure movies. I doubt any stones will fall off or secret doors will be opening. How ever I am very intrigued by this idea of musical notes being some sort of encrypted message. I also believe there is probably a few or more rooms at Rossylan that the general public does not know about nor do I believe anyone is going to be giving ATS a guided tour. As well, guessing what is hidden there would be pure imagination and to guess how the Ark works would be even more fantasy.

Have to agree, purly speculation on my part, but it's intreaging, doubt the trust will allow anyone to start digging at the foundations of the place, if there is a secret there, their going to keep it buried.

Whos to say the trusties looking after the place arnt part of a secret sociaty dedicated to keeping the secrets of the place hidden from us all?

i think this is the map of the chapel where the tip of the middle bar will point to somewere in the chapel. The circlular one will point to a certain time and date where the map will be revealed. the triangular one is the tomb itself but one of those lines is a wall where beyond it is the Grail. this is my theory

My final presentation cross had no rose like the first ones. It looks very much like a budded catholic cross, and I wear it everywhere in plain sight.

Back to the topic. I saw the same show and the code isn't quite cracked. Those notes will correspond to an order of service, and the book is probably long since turned to dust. Its a beautiful place. If you were to take a bible to the center of it you will find after each story a corresponding feature in the chapel. The mystery of the perfect ashlar, its all there. In those days some of the services would have been done according to differing ritual thinking each one would gain different favor from God. I have seen the platter and the markings on it that belongs there. I doubt the cup or the bowl will ever turn up. Legend says the platter bowl and cup match different spots where things are hidden inside the stone. By turning the bowl and cup they orient to different features for different reasons but the platter shows the way to the grail.
