That link is wrong, the Su-37 Terminator does have 3-Dimensional Thrust Vectoring as compared to the F-22's 2-dimensional Thrust Vectoring.

Well it really depends on what your posting, if it is a short in-coherent answer, then yes, it is discouraged.

Then again, so are "This weapon" VS "That Weapon" Threads.

As i said before the s-400 isnt yet in service.

I think maybe the moderators should close this thread it started off against the rules and has become pretty much pointless.

So why does the above matter

They were both technology demonstrators and so should be far better than any mass produced aircraft because they are loaded with the absolute latest technology instead of technology a few years old.

Both the s-37 and the mig 1.44 would get kicked off by the f-22 because the f-22 v's s-37 and mig 1.44 would be 183 aircraft against 2.

Not only that, but it's something that cannot be ignored, the F-22A is the most advanced and most capable fighter on the planet. For the time being.

And this is true, you just can't ignore everything that the Raptor is. Maybe soon another country will come out with something better than the Raptor, and then America wouldn't be as far ahead as alot of people seem to think. I'm a firm believer in the philosophy of Balanced Powers, what one country has, another one should have too, just tihnk about it, if I have nukes, and you have nukes, are we going to pick a fight with each other? Is jingoism really alive like it used to be?

No one country would dare go to war with another one of equal power, that way no one wins, and no wars of mass porportions start, and thus the world is hung together, kinda scary though, the world being held together by a single tether and cord.

got anthing official? besides they're experimental technology demonstrators for real aircraft such as the Su 35 and the F/A 22has a much higher kill ratio than the Su 35 10:1(done by a eurpean)

I'm just curious as to how you can possibly give that ratio, since neither aircraft have seen combat, the Su-35 and F-22A have yet to be deployed in any real combat sortie.

Just because some guy FAR away says it, doesn't make it true.

And I don't think that the S-400 and THAAD is a very good comparison, as to the S-400 has yet to see service.

Right now, like everyone else has said, this is PURE speculation, there are no real numbers out there, only speculation and test results.

And I have been here long enough and seen enough threads locked and enough members banned for "This" Vs. "That" threads. Any sort of "This" Vs. "That" threads are not encouraged because they don't justify anything, nothing real is gained from them, only frustration, thread lockings, and member bans. I really hope this is the last we hear on the "This" Vs. "That" thread complications.

The simulation you mention is from 1996. It is nothing else than that: a simulation based on WHAT WAS KNOWN about the competing aircraft back then. It is not a viable source of information now because the planes, especially those that hadn´t even left the prototype stage in 1996, have changed much since then.

The rule is EXACTLY against threads like this: arbitrary comparison of hearsay "facts" and opinions, it has nothing to do with nationality. One reason for this is that the true specs of military hardware, especially groundbreaking new types, are CONFIDENTIAL, and they will certainly not be revealed so as us Forum goers can slug numbers around to prove a point -> so basically these discussions comparing the capabilities to determine which is BETTER are pretty pointless.

So unless a "Vs." thread has a twist that makes it discussable, like saying which equipment would be the best for a specific task or under a specific circumstance, ie logistics, cost effectivity etc. , or if it introduces some really new information, it is pure opinion.

As a sidenote, please consider writing slower
