How do I get this stuff in the right spot?

Can anybody explain how the hell i can perhaps chat with somebody.I'm a newbie.Icertainly can use some advise.Can I reply directly to an individual. I live in San Luis Obispo,Ca. In SLO as we refer to it. any help woul be appreciated. Can a newbie u2u?Isn't that a direct type of connection? Explain all this to me old timers. You won't find many people that will share their real names but as you go along you'll see that our members care. A u2u is almost like an onsite email,

you can send a message to someone and they will reply,
i will send you one so you can see,


WE do have a chat room here on ATS but you can only use that once you have made 200 posts,


SO dont worry about that for now,

I see your starting to find your way around. ATS is a big place, but the folks are friendly, well most of them are.

Someone may have mentioned this already, but there is a section called the Freshman's Forum where you will find all kinds of information for new members.
