I wouldn't mind being adopted, Here is a little about me:

I am married with almost 5 year old twins, have a very pregnant trakehner mare, Christian beliefs but not a bible thumper, believe in ghosts(have heard and seen at least one) have had weird experiences. Republican, though not particularly a huge Bush fan, though I was less of a Kerry fan. I am a loudmouth, though try not to be mean or disrespectful. Naturally cynical. Not great at political debates, though have my opinions. More feeling than factual.

So, that is me in a nutshell. Maybe that will help people decide if they want to adopt me (or not!)

It has come to my attention that few new members are being adopted. Since I feel Surfup will undoubtfully soon be overwhelmed, I will help the new members in any way possible. I'm not sure what exactly I'm sposed to do as the adopter, but I can probably answer any questions one might have regarding the site. If not, I can at very least refer a member to the right person to ask. I feel confident that Surf has explained the roll well enough.

what is this "adoption" thing? what is it for ? and how does it work ?

The person who needs to be adopted tells someone that wants to adopt someone that they wanna be adopted and badda bing badda boom you're adopted. It's in case you need help learning your way around ats. Oh and some members need a lacky to do stuff for them.

Well figure out I am a newbie, I am almost ready to give up on the ufo experience, and well just keep shut. You know the sad thing is when you try to get some information from someone who is well known and has had all this ufo experience, they never seem to reply to your questions. Well, its hard to take in and maybe I may not belong in the end or my story is questioned. In a time in my life, hell who cares at this point, really starting to wonder about half of these so called experts. Its a shame in the end, am sure there are alot more of you out there that have maybe the same feelings? Sometimes to convince someone you may have to try harder or be more convincing? I say tell it as it is. Nothing can be more frustrating when you are a sound person with something to share. What does it take to be heard? My conclusion lies in my heart and mind, that one day I can verify. At this point what I saw keeps within me and my family and friends. My idea as a vunerable viewee was those of us would understand and seek those that knew more....and the more I read, the more I become isolated in my own views. So speaking about the big wig UFO specialists that say they understand and wont to know and learn, yet do they know something, without sympathy and understanding, seem to thing they are the only ones. Good news to you, your not. Their may be a few of us here looking for someone to look up to, to guide us and be of assurance. Unless I can be convinced, I have given up on UFO, and will keep mine to myself. Not a abductee, but a see'er, and paranormal experience, with a picture. God help us, we are in for a shock, maybe not our generation, but sometime in the future..sometime that I know.
