I bet you all know about it but ive just seen it and cant scan the whole of ATS to see if its been posted... there arent many vids on google so its likely loads of people know? i think its great tho not sure quite wat happens at the end.. do they shoot at it or is that smoke from the craft manouvering? looks like they shoot it.....

It moves just like another bulgaria ufo vid i have, il post it later... i did orginally post 5 or 6 links but my page crashed and i didnt have it copied

Just so you know this was just an advertisement for the sci-fi channel and not a real ufo video

Been discussed many times. It's a promo for the SCi-FI channel. You can even see the Sci-Fi logo at the beginning of your clip.

nice i dont ever watch sci fi channel i havnt got it...

Yup, that was a hoax. Notice how at the end whoever is holding the camera manages to follow that UFO so well as it shoots upwards.

Also, coincidently, the video supposedly took place on July 24th(2000), my birthday.

haha good one. man i can be so dumb sometimes but its ok yeah so i dont have sci fi channel, i just thought maybe they show REAL things too.. maybe im thinking of discovery

They do actually sometimes show UFO documenturies and the like. Non-fiction stuff. They used to have Tuesday declassified...or do they still have that?

so.. they used to do real things... and your all sure this is animated? i can only take your word for it cause the links on the site are dead... you guys in the states would know best.

it looks really good, you see it pass between the towers.. it shoots off leaving a small cloud by the tower.. gets half way thru the screen.. i wouldnt agree that they followed it so well with the cam at the start.. maybe it was just reflex luck they happend to catch it fly up (ok wishful thinking)

I looked at the video frame by frame and when the ufo shoots by the window in a very close-up encounter.. there are three things that pop into mind why it is fake.

First, the ufo is very blurry and sort of smudged when it goes past the helicopters window. Not clear at all as the window on the helicopter is. Some might suggest it is because the ufo has so much speed. Well, the problem is that the shadows and are inconsistant too with the ufo. The bottom of the craft is black. The front is lit. Now when it goes past the window, there is virtually no difference in shadows as one would expect there to be as it goes past a window, tilted somewhat as well.

The second problem is that the ufo is very small. Looking at it when it is beside the building, the ufo seems to be at least two stories high and a quarter of the building wide. When it shoots off into the distance, it is equally as big. Now when it shoots by the window, well, it is about as small as the window itself. You could hold it in your hands.

The third thing that comes into mind is that ufos don't have a plume of smoke - ever. They work on the levitation principal not gas motors. So a plune of engine smoke that we saw as the ufo goes skyward just doesn't make sense. No ufo in the history of ufos was ever filmed, videotaped, or photographed, or even witnessed as to having any type of smoke.

It's allready been stated this was a promo for the sci fi channel.

Sure the thread stated that this vid was a promo for the sci-fi channel.. but you can't always believe what you read now can you?!

So I stated why I thought it was a fake video so that others can make the same judgement about this and any other videos they might come across. Some people might not have the investigative minds to do an analysis. on what they see. So I kinda gave them some insight as to what a fake is and why.

Thanks for posting the obvious though.. your thread was very informative.

I can tell you that I clearly remember this whole series of ads for the sci-fi channel when they aired, not from reading about it. It appeared to be for a show called "Happens" or something like that. Another ad had a vid of a kid getting electrocuted in an electric fence, and a few other spots. The show never happened.

The actress has gone on record, sci-fi channel has gone on record, and the ad is even in the actress' resume'.... This clip is often referred to as "the world trade center UFO", but I can tell you hands down, with 100% confidence that it's just an ad....

Don't feel taken in though, there are a handful of UFO sites which still try to tout it as authentic.....
