Three Iranian immigrants arrested at Pilgrim nuclear plant in Plymouth

PLYMOUTH � Three men caught with camera equipment on the grounds surrounding the nuclear power plant were arrested and interrogated by federal and local authorities.

The trio, who police say came to the United States as teenagers from Iran, were spotted at the Pilgrim Nuclear Power Station Saturday morning walking along a restricted beach near the plant. They were arrested on trespassing charges. The men told authorities they were hiking.

....the fact that they are iranian may be the only reason that there was anything but a trespassing charge.
Any group that is worth beans won't get caught in such a stupid way,a lot of people carry cameras and such when they go hiking.
The Iranian near a nuke plant "thrill factor"report more than likely,probably never hear another word about it anywhere,and if ya do it will be an exageration(sp)/.

As far as the shoe bomber goes all I can say is sweaty feet are a good thing....

sound like young terrorist punks on a scouting mission trying not to attract attention. Better the young thugs than the pros that come in later to do the dirty work.

Scary. I live near there. anyways, i remember that there was a break-in to a power plant (i think it was the same one) a couple of months ago. two people were arrested, but it turned out that they just turned up to ask for directions. the people who broke in got away, but the area was checked, and nothing was odd.
