I know there is a massive underground storage facility in South Australia, I get this first hand from my foster brother who was a weapons tech with the navy. When they mothballed the air wing at HMAS Albatross he escorted some of the planes down there to be stored. He reckons there were hundreds of aircraft stored there, as well as munitions, thousands of big wooden crates marked only with numbers and 44 gal drums lined up as far as he could see. He was only in one hanger but saw entrances to at least 9 more.

As for secret bases, there is one in Bankstown ( Black Charlies Hill) that was built for WW2. It is about 9 stories high, built in a quarry and backfilled. As far as I know it is not used anymore.

The one in the blue mountains sounds logical, we quite often get massive convoy's of military trucks (200+ trucks) that just turn off into the bush and vanish.

The best way to check out the interesting spots in Australia is to check out the major contractors and what they list on there sites.

Boeing is a good start as they have their hands in most military programs in all services and supply much of the civil contractors in secure facilities.

You"ll find there is more than 12 classified sites with a number not visable from the ground or air.

Funny what you can learn over a beer!

On the Port/South Melbourne issue, I heard an audio interview on americanantigravity.com with Stan Deyo. You can d/l it here

In that, he said he worked on secret projects at Fisherman's Bend which is just next to Port Melb. I knew there was some kind of aerospace industry there, as I ride my pushie down there sometimes. A quick google search showed that at one time or another Boeing, Rockwell and Hawker De Havilland have had assembly plants down there.

Military aircraft assembled by GAF included the Beaufort, Beaufighter, Avro Lincoln, Canberra Bomber, Mirage and the F/A-18 Hornet. A number of indigenous products were also designed and manufactured, including the Jindivik, Malkara, Ikara, Nomad, Turana and Nulka.
boeing.com.au/History/gafASTA.html

Deyo also said at the end of the interview that he knew where the location of Atlantis is, so,um. . . . .

Also, on the tunnels under Melb. Grammer (or High?), a friend once told me that there was one that led out to Ivanhoe Grammer and that McCarthur used it when he was here in WW2.
Don't know if it was inflated school pride though

I know that there are some tunnels underneath Adelaide, South Australia.

Some of my mates found an entrance up in Prospect, I think it was, and that they followed this tunnel and ended up popping up in the floor of some med-research place
. They hadn't a clue where it was in relation to anything else in the city, as they were underground for about 90mins before they found the place.

Note: I haven't seen these things, I only recite wheat was told to me by very trusted friends.

Being in Melbourne, I'm thinking of grabbing my camera and taking a few happy snaps of areas like Fisherman's Bend and RAAF Williams (not Williamstown, it's in Laverton, but near enough). Though there's probably nothing much to see, I'll at least have a look. Has anyone else found anything interesting to photgraph or is it all uninteresting?

Also, Melbourne has quite a few old tunnels underneath it, not just the mystery plugged up tunnel near the Parliament buildings that sanctum mentioned. There was meant to be a tunnel (that one or another one maybe) that let the pollies sneak over to the red light district! There's also a tunnel from Melbourne High School (used as an American base during WWII) that goes, well I don't know where... another under the government district that was used for moving documents (before that, gold) between the treasury and other buildings, complete with a little railway. Used up until the 60s or 70s. Not very mysterious that one, but there is also a whole network of disused services tunnels under the streets in the downtown 'grid' area. Plenty of room for underground oddities here...

Any phone technician will tell you that you can walk underground from the top of Spring St to Spencer St through the ASIO - Telecom Network - as long as you have all the security passes - On any rainy day in the CBD of Melbourne this is a standard practice and quicker for the techs to finish quickly and go home by avoiding the crowd.
When General Macarthur was here is Melbourne he was the boss and did what was required to maintain security for his Command Post. Yes - there are tunnels everywhere.
The next time you walk around the ground floor of 220 Exhibition St Melbourne - 100m square office block with 200 plus work stations with monitors on standby - cafe - canteen - all set to go : but no staff have ever been seen in this ASIO building disquised under the Telecom Sign !!

Very interesting thread. Thanks all for the input. As you may know from other threads I have posted on I believe (from excellent sources) that the U.S. has been travelng to the moon since 1962, Mars since 1966 and throughout the solar system since then. A few months ago when I was on the George Norry show I mentioned all this and later Richard Hoagland came on and we discussed where all the solar system flights might be based and Richard said it was probably Australia. It would be hard to believe that all of the places you are talking about are just communication bases. I believe that someting much, much bigger is happening in Australia and its probably the center for our solar exploration. It would be nice to know if Gary McKinnen found any link to Australia in his explorations on the Web. When you begin to realize that Mercury, Gemini and Apollo, Shuttle and ISS are just a cover program you begin to look for where the 'real' program is. Too much is happening for it to be anywhere in the U.S. I took my family to Cairns a few years ago for a scuba diving vacation and was followed step by step by the Beacon Hill Boys. Other than the 'official' version of Gene Shoemakers crash does anybody have any information on the 'real' cause? (If any?)

I have occasionally visited the Bellarine Peninsula. Anyway, near Queenscliff there is a fairly long bridge going over a river (or lake?) into a 'instalation'. The bridge has high, barbed wire fences around it along with a guard post at the entry and a very big gate.

Why? What is this?

Im not sure about Melbourne, but there are tunnels all under Adelaide.

In fact if you go to the Adelaide court house or Police station at Victoria Square some are on display, you can look down into them, about 25 meters down.

Also the doctors office on the Parade in Norwood, about a 10 minute drive away, has similar "windows" down into the tunnels below.

I remember once while visiting the court I was told these tunnels go all around Adelaide. I know the University, which is one of the oldest buildings in the city, also has a lot of tunnel connections that are blocked off.

The tunnels are largely kept secret, no one really knows about them, but it is a rather huge network. Not sure anything goes on there, but come on, if you had access to them, wouldnt you use them for _something_?

If Australia does have nukes at Salisbury it explains why they keep that part of South Australia so, well, ghetto.

1. If something ever destroyed it, people wouldnt care.
2. It wouldnt effect anyone wealthy or in power.
3. People there generally speaking are not intelligent enough to question what is going on.
4. There isnt anything expensive that could be lost.

I used to live at RAAF East Sale and they have a large hangar there that no-one is allowed near. They have armed guards in camo uniforms standing outside it.

This is the hangar that they keep the UFO they found back in the 70s.

Many people have seen it but the RAAF denies it's exisitance because you can imagine the panic if people knew the truth.

Also at Est Sale you will see lots of unmarked American aircaft landing at night and then taking off again so that no-one knows they have been there.

Just my imput.

Woomera was a rocket testing ground.
Maralinga was a British Nuclear arment testing base.

Thay are not the same thing, they are completely different.

Pine Gap is not some alian storage facility or NWO fallback position. It is the location and home of the "Over the horizan radar" program. I know this beacuse a mate of mine is working there, he is Australian.

Woomera and Maralinga are a matter of public record, just go to the NAA and view the documents on them!
