I took the kids camping for a couple of days and exploring the Atherton tablelands. Its only an hour away from where I live in Cairns on the coast. To
go from tropical beaches and palm trees into the untouched rainforest is extra ordinary and an experience not to be missed by travellers coming to
tropical Queensland

Lake Tinaroo, Fong On bay, this is where we camped at the lake
A tree in the forest, it was amazing with all the gnarly bits
Mobo Creek Crater, sadly polluted with that grey oily substance.
