Cigar 'pole' UFO waves: Not UFOs at all

Lately there has been some waves of long black cigar UFOs being sited (I saw a huge one myself once)

These are actually not UFOs at all, but solar powered airship balloons.

Hey I saw one of those in 2000 at Milwaukee County Stadium when the Brewers took on the Braves. It was released in the middle of the 7th inning just before the start of THE GREAT SAUSAGE RACE held at every Brewer game.

unless they can produce a 600-800 foot long baloon, "gunmetal" grey in color, with a tapered end, reflecting sunlight, with blinking lights along the length of it, the case is certainly NOT closed.

Not all cigar UFOs in general.

ok, got'cha. i agree 110% with you that not ALL cigar-shaped objects in the sky are UFO's.

the "case closed" phrase kinda threw me.

They don't really give the impression of balloons (given their solid looking shape)

They were taking in 1994, before solar powered flying sauseges I think.

black balloons can look pretty solid...

As mentioned though, certainly doesn't explain ALL cigar sightings, the initial post was kind of misleading in that regard, so thanks for the clarification...
