US militery jet crashes in Arizona!

News reports are coming in the a US military jet has crashed in Arizona

possibley in to some houses.... NO reports of injurys so far and said to have happened at 2.30 US time,

Military jet crashes near homes in Arizona

"The plane went down in a neighborhood consisting of single-family homes at about 2:30 p.m. local time, Yuma police Lt. Mike Erfert told Reuters.

He said police, fire and military personnel were responding to the crash, and the area was being evacuated. No further details were immediately available from the scene"

Reports of small explosions, no reports of deaths so far

The jet crashed in to a back yard of one of the houses The crash site is also not far from a shopping mall,

A spokesman for the Marine Corps Air Station in Yuma, Arizona said that the Harrier jet that crashed had been operating from the base, about 160 miles (257 km) southwest of Phoenix.

ABC radio reported that the pilot of the jet had ejected from the aircraft.
