Nah.. the Japanese have a lot of spunk..
This war will mainly be fought at sea and in the air..
Japan's strong in both..

Maybe I should start posting a bunch of threads like these..
Who would win between

Ecuador and Panama?
How bout North versus South Carolina?
What if L.A. went to war with NYC who would win that?

Buncha pointless threads.

Actually since I doubt there are any koreans or japanese on ATS who post at the weps forum, this thread may actually have a very fruitful discussion which investigates the strike capabilities of both countries..
Mudslinging happens when there are nationalist sentiments involved..

Pointless given that those two countries wont be at war anytime soon.

Given that Korea was once occupied by Japan I doubt it would take very long for nationalist sentiments to surface. Mods please trash this thread.

ALL POSTERS READ THIS!

Please could members refrain from starting threads that are based around:

I agree totally pointless and should be closed. If you want to know the capabilities of each nation then use Goggle, unless you just want to earn some pints.

Looks like they ain't done it yet..thread's still living
And even though the Japanese don't like the koreans and vice versa.. that is irrelevant over here as there won't be any of them posting on this thread..
Thats my point..No mudslinging here beacuse nobody's blinded by nationalist sentiments.. everybody unbiased and neutral..

Its a weaponry forum.. we discuss weaponry..
What is the object of weaponry??
To defeat contesting/countering weaponry..
Where will such a test of mettle take place?
In wars and similar events..
What better way to discuss the capabilities of weapons than in war scenarios..
I don't know how the mods intended it, but IMHO those rules stated above are in place to prevent mudslinging/racist remarks etc. etc. only...
And that only happens if there are posters with nationalists sentiments involved..
I personally find it very bland to just state the specs of a weapon without investigating the scenarios/situations it can be used in..

Take dirty bombs for example..
They're despicable..They probably hurt everyone's sentiments here.. but that doesn't stop us from discussing what goes into building one..
Or the strategic ingenuity of deploying one..

Another example is Malaysia vs. Singapore..
A very very interesting scenario.. I'd love to start a thread on it..
But unfortunately with posts like those above I'm disuaded..

I;d like to hear what the mods have to say about my "interpretation" of the scope of this forum and their prescribed rules/regulations..
