Only in your dreams. The AIM-120C-7 has better range and seeker head than the R-77, which has a maximum effective range of about 31 miles, while the C-7's is about 60NM. And the AIM-9X is the best dogfigh missile in the world.

That's an irrelevant DERA study designed to get more sales for the Eurofighter, in other words, it's total BS.

Not to mention the Aim-120D which is due out in 08.

The designation AIM-120D refers to a projected version of the AIM-120C with a two-way data link, more accurate navigation, an expanded no-escape envelope and a 50% increase in range. The AIM-120D is a joint USAF/USN project.

And which version of the Aim-120 are you talking about wit the 20mile range? Some have different ranges than others, be specific!.

The link you give has specs of the AIM 120 - A/B.. not C..
Im not blind,but I thin kyou don't read the articles wiich you post in toto..

And I think the 20 mile range lets assume for the most backward of the AIM120s.. AIM 120 A/B..


Whatever the case .. Hockey guys data is completely inaccurate..
