Shivanthi Sathanandan, Police Hater, Just Got Carjacked by Reality

One of the largest voices in the 'defund the police' nonsense in Minnesota just got mugged/carjacked. Yep .... gone are the cries about how the police are failures and that they should be defunded and torn apart. Now her facebook page is full of yelling about how there needs to be strong justice against perps (which requires a well funded police department) and she also said thanks to the police.

Reality bit her in the butt. I wonder if she really got smart and has changed her tune for good, or if this is just the trauma talking and in a few months she'll be back to shilling the woke 'defund the police' garbage. Time will tell.

A bigwig in Minnesota’s Democratic-Farmer-Labor Party, she vowed in the aftermath of the George Floyd killing to dismantle the Minneapolis Police Department.

“Say it with me. DISMANTLE The Minneapolis Police Department,” she urged: It has “systematically failed the Black Community,” so it’s “time to build a new infrastructure that works for ALL communities.”

But now she’s gotten carjacked in front of her house and left with serious injuries, so she’s singing a new tune.

“These men knew what they were doing. I have NO DOUBT they have done this before. Yet they are still on OUR STREETS. Killing mothers. Giving babies psychological trauma that a lifetime of therapy cannot ease. With no hesitation and no remorse,” she thundered on Facebook.

And: “REMEMBER ME when you are thinking about supporting letting juveniles and young people out of custody to roam our streets instead of HOLDING THEM ACCOUNTABLE FOR THEIR ACTIONS.”

Yes, it looks like rank hypocrisy: Where was this outrage when the policies that people like Sathanandan demanded saw crime skyrocket in Minneapolis (and Chicago, and Los Angeles, and New York)?

The victims of the increased crime in Minneapolis are (as they are in other large cities) disproportionately black, with recent stats showing about 65% of murder victims are black in a city that’s 63% white.

Her sentiments are 'we don't need the police until I need the police'. Sounds about right. They just mentioned this on Fox news.

If only this reality bug would bite everyone with her stupidity in the butt. I'm glad it happened to her. She seems to think she has no part in her own harm. It's because or her and people like her that have put pressure on law enforcement and the judicial system to take it easy on criminals and let them have their way with the innocent public. She is simply reaping the 'rewards' of the conditions she herself has created. It's called cause and effect. Welcome to reality Shivanthi, you deserve it.

Her Facebook photo doesn't show any proof of her 'bruised and battered' body, but at least they didn't muss her hair up during the jacking.

That's a pretty unusual blood flow on her face, too; it seems to defy the laws of gravity. Maybe the wind was blowing really hard......

Not sure I even believe her story with the physical 'evidence' she posted.

Detroit is tougher and I survived it. I think everyone should get their ass kicked and have to go to the hospital a few times until it sinks in. After that, you learn to fight dirty and understand that everything can be reduced to giving or receiving a beating.

I thought her image looked like make-up/fake blood and a stupid look on her face like some crisis actor. Give her her milk and cookie/15 minutes, laugh, shake your head and forget she exists.

I suspect we'll see more of this.

I've searched and read multiple international news reports on this now, and the ONLY guess I can make about the identities of the attackers, is that they were not white.

I'd never heard of the woman who was attacked before reading this thread, but EVERYTHING I've read since, about her campaign/activism, is dripping with race injustice claims...I'm assuming her attackers didn't conform to her personal bias now.

I would usually laugh, but she was attacked in front of her kids...and scum who do that deserve a whole community of colour blind decent people to dish out the beatings then...imo!

Third time I've read that in this thread, but ice never heard it before in my life.

I just assumed that when people grew up they stopped being stupid.
Then I watched in horror as the liberal mindset sunk in all around me, spawning communists and socialists and Marxists everywhere, taking over the country.
