There's more to the Fentanyl crisis than meets the eye (or is reported in the MSM)

The fentanyl crisis in this country makes no sense. (Unless...)

A.) Let's face it, low-level drug dealers are greedy and stupid. But cartel kingpins aren't stupid.

B.) It's bad for business to kill your customer. Fentanyl is the drug cartel's Kryptonite. They hate the stuff, and it's killing their business. It's so highly toxic that it's nearly impossible to handle in a mass distribution setting without advanced scientific and laboratory equipment to analyze and control dosage.

C.) The MSM constantly parrots that the primary source for Fentanyl is China (or is it?). The quality control for fentanyl entering the country is non-existent, and all over the map. Back to the advanced lab equipment; before dealers can increase profits by cutting more mainstream drugs with fentanyl (the most often stated reason for its existence), they need to first know what they're dealing with.

D.) The potency of fentanyl is so extreme that even if the profit margin was 1,000,000% there's not enough aggregate profit to motivate a country like China to sponsor its export. In other words, even a small lab could produce enough fentanyl to wipe out an entire country, but in reality all that would do is wipe out all the illegal narcotics users, not the general population. So, there's no strategic value to it.

E.) Even if the primary source for fentanyl really IS China, China doesn't do themselves any favors by killing their customers either. (See item #B above...don't kill your customer).

F.) Fentanyl's deadly reputation is scaring addicts away from using illegal drugs at all. That's not good for the illegal narcotics business either.

G.) Illegal narcotics dealers want you to use more drugs, not less. A lethal dose of this drug can fit on the tip of a pencil; that's going the wrong direction for a dealer trying to optimize profits though volume of sales. Even if the fentanyl dose doesn't kill a user, it's effects are far stronger and last much longer. Who's going to go buy more illegal narcotics when everyone is unconscious? Plus, killing a bunch of party goers with overdoses takes the 'fun' out of party in short order.

So, why does fentanyl exist at all? Where is it coming from? From the late 60's onward, the illegal narcotics trade has been a staggering source of black money, for use by governments in black ops. Fentanyl doesn't do anything to enhance this trade. In fact, it has the exact opposite affect. The point here is, the "War on Drugs" has long been a ruse by governments. The reality is, the war on drugs has really just been a war on who gets the profits! Fentanyl changes all that.

First, It is great to see you coming around more often again.

I think you nailed it on the head...there is more to this.

I think the government has many ways to get rid of us. Fentenyal for the junkies. Alcohol for the masses. It goes on and on.

I believe they are culling who than can voluntarily...it makes them seem nicer and will leave a better story for the future writing of history. They don't have to kill us if we kill ourselves.

I have no doubt China is the scapegoat, and we know that we are theirs.

The evil in this world is massive right now.

i kinda feel its like the opium trade as it becomes the single most important descriptor of a darkly corrupt empire.. opium was dark england in more than one way where the hero detective is a drug addled wretch and the villain eviscerates women. combined they sum up an equivalent period of drugs, violence and fear..

China has been sizing us up for years and one of their tactics is to confuse and conquer us with fear. Our being consumers is meaningful only until they blatantly attack us....we are mostly their enemy , so for the time being with Joe in their pocket they are content with killing us slowly with fentanyl at around a 100,000 per year and bringing illegal immigrant soldiers easily over our porous border...... to openly attack us at some point ?

And tobacco doesn't? Let alone save the social security system by shaving off decades for ex smokers. And it's FAR more addicting.

Great thread and I have wondered the same. What's up with flooding of this killer drug into our country?

When I was reading about it and came upon this image I was shocked.

I also read:

The majority of fentanyl is mass-produced in Mexico using chemicals from China before being pressed into pills or mixed with other counterfeit pills made to look like Xanax, Adderall, or oxycodone.

And it's a fact, it's made in China. Mexico drug cartels buy it and bring it into the USA.

And this is pretty scary:

Illegally made fentanyl

Illegally made fentanyl (IMF) is available on the drug market in different forms, including liquid and powder1.

Powdered fentanyl looks just like many other drugs. It is commonly mixed with drugs like heroin, coc aine, and methamphetamine and made into pills that are made to resemble other prescription opioids. Fentanyl-laced drugs are extremely dangerous, and many people may be unaware that their drugs are laced with fentanyl.

In its liquid form, IMF can be found in nasal sprays, eye drops, and dropped onto paper or small candies.

Consider that the short term profit motive is the driver and all segments are not connected. The cartels sell the opiates that they can for as long as they can and the smart ones will diversify into other profitable criminal activities/illegal drugs if they can. They already have multiple product lines. Maybe they see the end coming and maybe they don't but they can't really control fentanyl production, especially in China or other countries. Chinese producers don't care who buys or what the customers do with it. If the fentanyl market dries up, they can always shift to MDMA and other such drugs. I think that they count on a continued supply of new addicts to replace check outs. The low end dealers sell what they get and hope for the best.
To be sure, fentanyl is not even close to being the most potent analogue in the series. The synthesis of any of these compounds is a test in lab technique with fatal results for a failing grade. I would expect that the labs making these types of compounds would keep Narcan around at every bench and hung on every wall. Amateurs will soon be reduced by Darwinism in the lab as this isn't like cooking bad batches of meth with the biggest problems being fumes and fires.
As you surmised, dilution to non fatal doses is a problem. This can't be easily done with solid-solid mixing as a small, non-dispersed lump ending up in a pill could be fatal. It has to be done by solution with evaporation of solvent. Even this is difficult and requires a great deal of QC to prevent eliminating the customers...should they care.

There are plenty of threads here espousing the belief that Joe is in bed with and has sold us out to China. What better way to concur a country than to facilitate its implosion?

Fentanyl is targeting our youth-the ones needed not only to support our growing retirement population, but also to defend our country militarily, if need be.....and emptying our stockpile of defensive materials ala Ukraine also helps on that front.

Controlled demolition of the US economy would play into the global One World Government, and the USA isn't the only country suffering from drug abuse, overwhelming migration, inflation and angry citizens reaching their breaking point.

Maybe the US government isn't behind the fentanyl crisis, but I'm not so sure about Joe.....and a few other political figures who have vastly enriched themselves via China dealings.

Are you listening Pelosi? McConnel? Feinstein? And all the other swamp rats who's dealings and portfolios deserve closer scrutiny.

I live in a lilly white neighborhood of current and former executives. Many IMO are dealing drugs. The CEO next door is making something then they distribute same. His entire family is in on it. They even have "chase" cars escort the primary vehicle. Took me 4 years to figure it out. Am I a snoop. Nope. It just so happens that I buy my building materials and trade stocks from a desktop that is on the 2nd floor overlooking the street which is a cul de sak.

My question to ATS what type of drug can be made in the garage and be ready to transport after 48 hours. I can tell that when his inside garage light is on all night they are cooking something? So how do I know that. Well I have to pee at night and we have lots of windows.

I know meth can be made in short order but this guy makes $285,000 a year according to public records. Would they waste their time on meth?

Opium is the reason why we were in Afghanistan, and it's one of the reasons we're in Ukraine.

When I was stationed in Afghanistan, we used to get the propaganda they were feeding to the Afghanis. It was all about their opium farms.

Well these former "pharmaceutical employees" - lol, managed tying sticks together to create a makeshift lab, or series of labs, to crudely manufacture the drug for sale.

Fentanyl is the most profitable drug going right now and if you haven't noticed, the cartels are sending their dealers/workers amongst all the illegals to sell the drugs they smuggle in!!

That's PROFIT control of everything! Eventually, we WILL see roving, marauding cartel members in trucks patrolling areas in the United States.

The worst thing they could possibly do is purposely "hot shot" their customers in retribution for authorities going after them.

I'm convinced that our corrupt 'government' is funding the drug crisis. The so called 'war on drugs' was just a front to seem to be fighting it. But think about all the profit for Big Pharma with an addicted population.
Too many doctors prescribing pain killers , oxicodone, is very addictive and leads to more seriours drug abuse, often leading to meth , coc aine etc abuse.
Also, an addicted population is going to be very compliant

Many so called mental health condtions especially , like ADHD are just BS made up terms to be able to prescribe the same drug under a different label to different people. It's all a criminal scam.

Fentanyl is used in surgery because of its amnesia like effects. It is making people forget how bad things are while they continue to eliminate themselves for the enemy. The goal is the destruction of America and any means to that end is helpful.
