I am not sure I would call a man that razed Chechnya, invaded Georgia and invaded Ukraine, soft. But you are correct in that if it ends up that Vlad the Failed gets overthrown, we have no idea who will be the replacement.

President Medvedev invaded Georgia. I guess one could argue Putin was the puppeteer

The Rostov governor does not seem to share your feelings on the matter that everything is just fine and dandy.

Even going so far as to call for people to stay calm.

And canceling all mass events.

What’s your point?

Illinois governor Prickster and Chicago mayor “beetlejuice” had to say the same along the lines during the riots and lootings a mere couple years ago lol.

Of course Governors and mayors have to say something. It’s their job.

Even some pro Azov/Zelensky supporters are harping how Russian civilians are told to stay calm.

Which as we see Russian civilians are. Whether they were told to or not.

Remember the old days, when we all thought that the Russian Army was to be feared, or at least respected?

Thats the Red Army I was taught about, but it would seem they can't stomach continued war against Ukraine and it's all crumbling.

Russia created Wagner, but that doesn't mean Wagner is gonna grab nukes and take over the world if they roll through Moscow

The Russian President's Spetsnaz forces have allegedly been left "extremely depleted", suffering a 90 to 95 per cent casualty rate.

Something along those lines by the look of things.

Apparently, they lost about 50% of their special forces in the Battle of Hostomel trying to take and hold Antonov Airport.

Medvedev weighs in t.me...

Deputy Chairman of the Security Council of the Russian Federation Medvedev threatens that if nuclear bombs will be under control of "bandits", - the whole world will be on the verge of destruction. Suggests that foreign specialists prepared the mutiny

Orby, we both know that Medvedev was a place holder for Prime Minister Putin until they could change the laws to put Vlad the Failed back in the Presidents chair. Nothing that has happened since the late 90's has been anything but Vlad the Failed's doing with regards to the Russia and it's military policy.

Saying anything other is either semantics or being willfully ignorant and I know you're better than that.

For sure. That's why I'm not sure how it all works out. And there are such big ideological differences. Maybe not an ally, but it would be nice if they weren't an enemy and we could remove them from China's influence.

This whole situation is just wild. I hope it doesn't become a catastrophe. I hope it works out well somehow.

The main thing from the statements of the Deputy Chairman of the Security Council of the Russian Federation Dmitry Medvedev:

📍The leadership of the Russian Federation will not allow crazy criminals and their fans to seize power in the country;

Did anyone else laugh out loud at this line? I mean come on Dmitry, you're taking the piss right? That folks is the clear definition of irony.

Famous Belarusian airborne officer to Belarusian military: We must promptly decide what to do

"We do not know for sure what will happen tomorrow. Perhaps Prigozhin will win, conscript half the population of Russia and bombard Ukraine with cannon fodder...

We know something else: the pro-Russian path that Lukashenko has been leading the country on for all these years has led us to a dead end. We are now standing on the road with a barrier and a dead-end sign in front of us.

And we have to decide what to do next and decide it quickly.

Therefore, either we will use this historical chance and become a prosperous European country, or we will lose everything, and the name of the Republic of Belarus will remain only in books.

First of all, I want to address the Belarusian military. We have no one to rely on, but we will definitely cope with this together.

Servicemen of the 38th Brigade of Brest and other military units tune in to our wave and stay in touch. We will win!"

This would be interesting. Putin was quick to get on the phone with allies, including Belarus, to prevent something like this from occurring. We'll see if any regiment of Belarus's armed forces heed his call.

Yes for sure Putin was the puppeteer, I just like to acknowledge Medvedev gave the orders to 'defend' the Russian allies inGeorgia who were under attack, just like the people of the Donbas

The Rostov governor does not seem to share your feelings on the matter would be my point.

You know, a person that actually knows what he's talking about, can see whats going on for the better or worse of the matter, and is actually in the area.

Illinois governor Prickster and Chicago mayor “beetlejuice” had to say the same along the lines during the riots and lootings a mere couple years ago lol.

Not quite sure why you feel American politics or what their governors do are synonymous with what's transpiring in Ukraine/Russia or anything reminiscent of the sort.

Even some pro Azov/Zelensky supporters are harping how Russian civilians are told to stay calm.

Smashing but the point is you don't tell calm people to "stay calm" no matter which side of the fence they happen to be.

Which as we see Russian civilians are. Whether they were told to or not.

Well if that was the case i imagine the governor would be taking rather a different tack.

You want it to be one way.......but its the other way Imhere.

Exactly. How anyone thinks Medvedev was the legit leader is crazy to me. Medvedev and Obama were caught on tape talking about how what Obama told Medvedev would be "relayed to Vladimir."

Are you seriously saying civilian riots in Chicago are akin to Wagner mercenary military troops heading north toward Moscow? All the while the regular Russian Army and the public seem to be standing clear.

What if the US is responsible for covert attacks on the Wagner group (the missiles or artillery the Wagner group was complaining about) that were purposely meant to look like Russian aggression?

I'm thinking the Wagner group soldiers that got decimated could tell from which direction the artillery barrage came.

What if aliens did it or Osama bin Laden with a Ouija board?

Weren't all you Ukrainian backers saying Wagner was full of "Nazis"?

YES, I do remember numerous posters saying Wagner was a bunch of Nazis including their leader. So is it really a surprise then that a group of Nazis would literally, in a round about way, join all the Ukrainian Nazis and start to rebel against the Russians?!?!?

I'm sure Wagner spoke with the Ukraine Azov and said "we are all Nazis why are we fighting against eachother"

How does that happen? wouldn't that take US troops, being in the area with the Russian regular Army, Wagner, and Ukrainian forces?
