Article

The Israeli newspaper Haaretz reported that, as part of Israeli's increasing cooperation with Azerbaijan, Baku has agreed to let Israel use its airfields if Israel needs to attack Iran's nuclear facilities.

This is something we discussed on here a few months ago as the Israeli-Azerbaijani partnership grew. I think most of us thought this was unlikely since it opens Azerbaijan up to retaliation from Iran. But apparently Israel provided a lot of help to Azerbaijan during their conflict with Iran. I guess this is their way of paying Israel back. I'd imagine Israel will help defend them from Iran's retaliation.

They've constructed an airfield specifically for this purpose. This would help Israel immensely if they were able to strike from there, a much shorter haul than having to fly to Iran from Israel to conduct the strikes.

Israel is pretty small, couldn't a few nukes completely wipe the "Great Satan" off the map? Or is America the Great Satan? Regardless, the Palestinians would eat it too unfortunately but they'd be considered martyrs.

They'll do it too, regardless of the damage inflicted on them in the crossfire when Israel launches it's secret nukes at Iran from submarines. They have em, they just say they dont. This is what I've heard.

"Having" enough to build a weapon, and actually building a working nuclear weapon, are two very different things.

Even if Iran builds a nuclear device, it can be certain that the device works unless they test it by detonating one.

And the instant Iran detonates a nuclear device, even as a test, Isreal will send out forces, both overt and covert, to end Iran's nuclear programs...for good.

I would even venture to guess that shipping a test device to North Korea for detonation there, would not mislead, and thus forestall, Isreal's retribution against Iran.

Yes I know. It's been happening for decades but now they have the most right wing government ever and they're emboldened. That's why Israeli settlers rioted and started burning that Palestinian town. Propaganda is being given from the top.

usa is "great satan" they are lesser one lol but being able to wipe them out and surviving doing so are two different things entirely

en.wikipedia.org...

The State of Israel is widely believed to possess nuclear weapons. Estimates of Israel's stockpile range between 80 and 400 nuclear warheads,[2][5][6][7][8][9] and the country is believed to possess the ability to deliver them in several methods, including by aircraft, as submarine-launched cruise missiles, and via the Jericho series of intermediate to intercontinental range ballistic missiles.[18][19] Its first deliverable nuclear weapon is thought to have been completed in late 1966 or early 1967; which would make it the sixth country in the world to have developed them.[2][20][21]
and

Israeli military forces possess land, air, and sea-based methods for deploying their nuclear weapons, thus forming a nuclear triad that is mainly medium to long ranged, the backbone of which is submarine-launched cruise missiles and medium and intercontinental ballistic missiles, with Israeli Air Force long range strike aircraft on call to perform nuclear interdiction and strategic strikes.[145] During 2008 the Jericho III ICBM became operational, giving Israel extremely long range nuclear strike abilities.[146][147]

so yes Israel is quite small but they also have the ability to respond even if the all of Israel is bombed/nuked and as they started way back in the 60s with there program compared to iran which is supposedly just now having the capability it would be kind of foolish to attempt or worse actually nuke Israel

Good bye Israel, it was nice knowing you.

I imagine Israel as one of those all glass, deep ocean submersibles. They are under such enormous pressure from all sides, just one tiny crack would cause the water to instantly implode in.

That's Israel in the Middle-East.

I don't think staging a war against any of their neighbors is a good idea for their survival.

Thing is,Benny is at back at the helm now-and he has been itching to wipeout any chance of a future Iranian nuclear capability for many years.
The 84% enriched Uranium particles recently found will only have made an attack much more likley.

The mullahs seem to have realized this as well-as they are suddenly allowing IAEA cameras and inspections at nuclear facilities, including the one where the 84% enriched particles were detected.

Iran to reconnect nuclear cameras, ramp up inspections: IAEA

Benny of course will realize this is Iran attempting to buy more time, and likely will not be dissuaded from his intention.

About 1/4 of Iran population is Azeri Turkic origin - Much of Northern Iran including of Shiraz is claimed by Azerbaijan

This is their form of payback for the Persians mistreating the Azeri population

Back in the late 80's early 90s it was reported that Israel already had medium range missiles and aircraft launched nukes.

If iran launches one the entire middle east becomes glass in a hurry.

And that would be bu-bye for most of the West as well. With the Samson option what Israel would do is hit all the oil pipelines, ports, and oil wells they can. Like it or not once the Middle East oil patch goes offline it's going to stay that way for years most likely. And it would be followed by a GREAT DEPRESSION with gas going up to $100-$500 a gallon before disappearing altogether. Oil and Coal electric generation would shortly follow. And if it happened in winter chances are large swaths of the US, Canada, and Europe would freeze and/or starve. China would crash too.

Simply put Fubar Israel and as their parting gift they will fubar you're economies. And there will be a major death toll associated with that.
