Once you have lived a bunch of decades, you will realize that this tune has been sung many a time. I've heard it before. The collapse of society as we know it. Economic doom and gloom. The collapse of the dollar. It's always going to be some people's schtick. Done mostly for monetary gain, but sometimes, like in the case of the People's Temple, for power.

Yes, the end will come, and it might be six months from now. Might be tomorrow. But I know one thing for sure. It ain't right now.

The problem I see with this; is that most gun carrying Americans won't stand for it. It's that simple. They can try, but the only way they can possibly succeed is to start arresting , killing people now and taking their guns. Maybe that will make a dent on the sh*t-storm that will come back on them, but I doubt it.

Totally agree. When you get to your 5th or 6th decade and you’ve been reading about the impending doom since the 90s, it gets a little old. Thing is, the MO of these buy cheap, sell high boom and bust profiteers that seem to have every 1st world government in their pockets doesn’t fit with a war with Russia. The rinse and repeat doesn’t work if there’s no world left.

Sure the weapons dealers want war - lots of endless war, but the kind that doesn’t spill over into nuclear Armageddon. There’s no profit in the apocalypse. Only the fanatics want that - not the arms manufacturers.

Taxpayers are going to be expected to find the money – most of which will doubtless be stolen. And, as I predicted many weeks ago, western governments are preparing for war with Russia. NATO is preparing for war. And the head of the British armed forces says we must be ready for war. The only people who will gain will be the arms companies.

Black Swan events come out of left field & no one sees them coming. I agree the economic future looks rocky , but everyone is aware of the turmoil & that is what makes your theory questionable.
The worst events in history have come out of the clear blue with little warning.
When everyone feels happy & we feel invincible is when a horrible event becomes tragic.
We have had covid , horrible Presidents in Trump & Biden , Ukraine war & global resource problems.
I believe we are in for a slow stagnation over the next 6 years & the only real issue is housing.

I'm working on making 5-10 years worth of high quality Pemmican, so will soon have the food problem solved for our entire family, but I'm not sure how to attack the water problem. Would appreciate some ideas

How about you barter away some of the pemican! Use it to get things other people have that you don't. I have eggs to swap.. That is how this is going to work if it works when the days of darkness arrive. I might have some spare canned food I will be canning, and I have lots of practice. You might want one of those portable solar generators too. I am sure that is a good idea. I have a friend with one. The portable solar ones don't make noise. If it doesn't need fuel it will be noiseless. Battery life being the only issue. I doubt it would last for 20 years if you needed it that long.

I’m sorry, I don’t know this Doctor but he sounds like a member of the reactionary conspiracy.

This is the pattern many of them follow:

1) Scaring/amusing their audience with catastrophic entertainment.

2) Hinting directly or indirectly that the upcoming crisis is something spontaneous and unavoidable.

3) Trying to make their followers don’t blame anyone but themselves for the crisis.

This is a psychological warfare operation designed by the fascist/islamist/cultist conspiracy in order to deceive their enemies from the Allied Powers.

With the maximum respect, and I’m not trying to annoy anyone, but according to my investigations, all your Presidents since at least 21/January/1977 have been members of this conspiracy, and I suspect a few more before that date too.
