Hi Xuenchen. From what I understand they use "period pieces" on set for authenticity but it never should have been loaded with actual bullets and never should have been pointed at anyone. Anyone that handles a firearm whether they are a director or an actor or whatever, they should have had gun safety training. Then there was the fact that part of the crew including the original armer walked off the set claiming it was unsafe from guns that had gone off prior to this incident and a replacement crew came in. It will be interesting to see what unravels here for sure!

Could it be possible Baldwin was "hypnotized" ?????? 😈

My money is on the threat of blackmail material of the Epstein variety (under the temple kind) being released.

Hypnotized is possible though, perhaps a little bit of both.

Considering Ghislaine’s trial is set for 5 weeks from now, I’d say that’s pretty good assumption.

Thank you for reminding me I meant to post this up about the warning from the armer...

I thought I read that it was a Colt 45 long revolver but I cannot find where I read that.

The headline on BBC News is Alec Baldwin told gun was safe.

Which violates the most basic of firearm handling rules: you ALWAYS check it YOURSELF.

"But somebody else said it was safe" is indeed how people get killed.

So much this....was taught from 6 years old treat every gun as it is loaded. With the other "accidents" specifically with prop guns, Brandon Lee, etc. Anybody the picks up a prop gun and shoots it without checking is an imbecile, that includes Alec Baldwin.

if average Joe used I was told it wasn't loaded, do you think they walk? at the best, it is negligent on Baldwin and the movie company.

let's not forget accidental death usually gets the beneficiary double benefits, might be handy when a lawyer is caught up in the Russian probe.

And then you find out the assistant director who handed the gun to Baldwin also worked on The Crow with Brandon Lee!

I knew it. Everytime.

I saw this story pop-up and when I first saw it, I thought. Hmm, ok. That's a bit of a shame, I remember Brandon Lee died the same way.

That was it. Done, dusted, plenty more things going on.

Then, today, I saw it on my phone, was on the radio, every newspapers covering it, and all I have heard all of today is everyone talking about it. Then I noticed everyone is saying the same thing "Did you hear Alec Baldwin accidentally killed someone with a prop gun." and nothing else.

Thought to myself... ill check this out, why is this everywhere? Clicked on this thread after passing it by last night... here we go!

It's like the MSM is deliberately overloading everyone with the cut and paste short version to cover something up.

Brilliant thread S+F, now im going to read all of this

Why Baldwin decided to point the gun at the people he did and pulled the trigger needs to be answered.

If this report from daily British rag is correct, he was presumably directed to:

filming a scene inside an Old West-style church, Baldwin apparently aimed towards the camera and pulled the trigger, accidentally killing Hutchins as she filmed him, and injuring director Joel Souza, who stood behind her.

I believe if safety protocols are being strictly adhered to, you don’t aim a prop gun or fire a blank at crew or actors. The camera could have been operated remotely.

Greetings and thank you XXXN3O!

The medias job is to cover the angle and get the sympathy of the public as well as distract from all that is going on.

The message is loud and clear to those who it was meant for.

I believe that is to the people who may be attempting to work with Durham.

Could also be as KKLOCO mentioned, linked to the coming court case of old Ghislaine Maxwell.

One thing is certain, it is a message!

The only issue I have with this being some secret assassin bullet placed in there on purpose to conveniently find it's way into this womans body, is that reports were saying they weren't even taking a shoot, they were just standing around talking about a scene or something and it went off and it hit her and someone else.

If that was the case, it then becomes the question, did Alec Baldwin commit murder or knew it had a live round in it?
Or was it just a pure accident?

Stongfp I wanted to link you to EvilAxis's comment, as there seems to be a lot of different narratives coming out.

Given that the guy who handed the gun to Baldwin and told him it was safe, is an assistant director who just so happened to be present when Brandon Lee died as a result of the same "accident".

It is unclear what exactly happened, however I stand behind the idea that it was a message to someone or a group of people.

The lawyer connection is to much for this to be incidental.

AD=Assistant Director. I think it deserved its own thread too and am glad you started it! I will get the AD's info and post it here.

I appreciate your input as well!

Thank you kindly!

I look forward to the AD's info

I thought that was the case, so a cinematographer and a director get shot, after the assistant director hands over the prop.

Why on Earth would Baldwin point the weapon at the cinematographer and director!?

None of this makes any kind of sense.

POV shot of the gun going off. I've been on film sets and believe this would most probably be the reason.

I could see this as being a possibility, but EvilAxis made the point below...

Given how catastrophic an "accident" of this would be to everyone involved, I think a remote camera would be implemented.

Well now isn't this interesting, this meme is excellent and set the tone for a thread about the suspicious connection of Alec Baldwin's victim, Halyna Hutchins is the wife of Matt Hutchins a lawyer for Latham-Watkins.

I mean what a strange coincidence... [...]

This site is notorious for its chronic compulsion to connecting dots that elude the casual observer, but the facts here are relatively straight forward.

IATSE went on strike, including the arms specialist in charge of weapon safety

A bunch of random stage hands were hired on the spot to replace the absent crew

No one checked the gun to confirm its ammunition was in fact blank

The plexiglass was not bullet proof

This was a dumb accident but still an accident, there was no premeditated violence. Alec Baldwin was simply reckless and negligent which is textbook celebrity swagger.

But read into it as you will, because paranoia.
