First rule....

Second rule. ..DTA. Don't trust anyone.
Third rule, with much thanks to my momma...Never let a man take care of you.
Those are the only plans I need.

Well most of us here have a hidden bunker complex with food and water for at least 10 years, and in the hidden "ATS skill group" we are currently learning how to hunt with spears and building solar panels.

By the way, a vest in the UK is, I believe, a tank top in the US.

also we have Amazon Prime now, too. If it will fit in the basket of a penny farthing and you can wait a couple of weeks you can get all sorts of great stuff.

go to a red state
go to a red city in a red state
go to a small really red town at least 30 miles from a major mostly red city
pay off the house and the car and the credit cards
live on my income with money left over to save
find local businesses that can supply my needs and buy from them even it the cost is a little high

You remind me of my mindset when I went through chemical warfare training, when in the military.

We went through three days of training and living in the gear. When it was over, my Mother asked me how did it go? I told her, if we ever got hit, I would put on the suit only long enough to make sure the air was completely contaminated, then i would take off my mask and take a deep breath.

I was a young gal then. Now that I am an old fart. Today, I wouldn't even bother with the suit.

I too would grab me a stiff drink, and just take the short walk, and hope I got far enough away not to have my decomposing body further contaminate the area.

I still have plenty of fight left in me, I am just not going to waste my reserves. Resistance may be futile, but it will be my swan song.

There never was a plan.

They are, all of them, 'winging it' as they go along.

There was a "stick to the plan" meme, but no-one ever explained what that plan actually was.

It was just a slogan - a mantra for the 'believers' to chant.

We are doomed, not to doom, but to inconsequentiality.

If the S really Hs T F the best I can hope for is a quick and painless death....preferably while I'm asleep.

Just out of spite, though, I hope those responsible end up bungling their extrication plan so that, instead of a heroes return, their comrades mock them and tell funny stories about their goofiness down at the bar.

The last time I drank SC I drank a fifth straight up went to a Metallica concert and later barfed my brains out. I used to like the orangish type flavor but never again.

Same thing at a bush party many many years ago.

Ended up passing out under a big log.

My plan is to go find that log, it made a good hiding place and offered enough cover to stop most civilian rounds. I’ll take my 45-70 and a bottle of Scotch with me and this time.

My final stand will be a glorious thing!
