One person with knowledge of the discussions told the newspaper that Trump will carry on fighting, but even he acknowledges that it will be difficult to succeed. “He is all over the place. It changes from hour to hour,” the person said.

He's taking his followers on a delusional trip to nowhere

They are not saying Trump is wrong, they are saying that they are not thinking that he will succeed in getting lawsuits accepted in those states. This is a twist of words, all politicians are aware there is cheating in the polls all the time. Whether the deceit tracks are covered well determines if they get away with it in a recount or audit, Politicians always lie and deceive others, it is part of the per-requisit for the position.
