I thought this was about HIPAA violations. Now you're making it about isolation? That has more to do with state law than federal.

I don't think HIPPA protocol is followed much now. I get calls all the time telling me that a Dr's office has refereed me for a medic alert necklace in case I fall down. What a comfort to know someone has my personal welfare in mind!!

I went into the hospital on the 2nd with severe Hypoxia,while awaiting COVID results from another source, and was tested positive for COVID-19. Spent 5 days in ICU, and was released home on full time o2.
The next morning as I was sleeping, a constable came by and delivered a notice of house arrest until the 19th, due to the infectious disease.
