I've seen a number of studies indicating that there is no appreciable difference. The studies that claim otherwise often use a methodology that ignores previous offenses or parse's the defendants charges in a way that is misleading. For example, a study will claim a white guy with a weed gets probation and the black guys gets five years jail time. What they sometimes will leave out is that the it was the white guy's first offense while the black guy not only got the weed charge, but also had a gun charge or maybe it was their third or fourth violation.

This is not to say that there aren't individual instances of unjust sentencing but in general, there is no meaningful difference. Most of the disparity in sentencing is probably more class related than race which is a legitimate beef with our system. Those with money tend to be able to hire better legal counsel.

The article is based on the link that I embedded. The FBI Bulletin just says there have been instances of people who have ties to white supremacist found in law enforcement. Again, this is just stating the obvious. Many criminal gangs are also white supremacist. Criminals having connects or members within the law enforcement community is nothing new. They do so for access to information. Criminals have been colluding and paying off law enforcement since the beginning of time.

Again, if it were an issue, it would show up in the data which it does not. We also have to ignore that many of the police departments are run by black police chiefs and other high ranking officers n order for your positions to ring true.

My take on it is , the black killer cop usually get what's coming to him, of the two publicly mentioned incidents, one involving a white teen with a fake gun, who was killed by two Blk cops, both went to prison, the other a few yrs back widely discussed here on ATS, incident happened in Minnesota, Black cop shot and killed a white woman in her PJs who flagged them down, the black cop thought he saw gun somewhere, so he murdered her... his ass is sitting in Jail.

See in a lot of these cases of wrongful deaths, it's not just about the shock of the incidents that happened, but the lack of accountability and a sense of justice not being equally applied.

Also true or not! there is a sense that , "black cops" shooting unarmed white Ppl is rather rare.

We'll when the #1 cause of death for black males (< 44 years old) is being killed by other black folks, I think it the problem is a little more serious than just a buzzword.
