Presidential Election Polls

Hello fellow ATS members.

I was wondering how many of you have ever been polled for a Presidential election? I have voted for the office of President of the US since 1988. I have never been polled by anyone in regards to whom I am voting for as President. I have always questioned such polls do to the fact not only have never been polled but others I have spoken to have not either. Where is the data coming from? I have a hard time believing it. Have you every been polled?

Even the title of your thread is hilarious. “Presidential Election Polls”, just a laughable concept after living through the last five years.

Polls are faked. 100% of the time.

I would like to know who the pollsters are talking to. What percentage they are using to make their assumption on who is voting for who.

I agree. I'm 60-ish. Not once have I been polled, exit or otherwise.

There’s a certain group that I can’t quite put my finger on who absolutely, completely, totally, blindly believe the fake polls with all of their being

Regardless of how often the polls are 180 degrees out from their predictions

Those people will be along soon to lie and tell you “yes I’ve been polled a lot, I get polled all the time”

They don’t

But go easy because today will be a VERY difficult day for them.

The most accurate polls since 2012 have been social media polls. The media does not like those because they can't throw the results in the trash bin which was admitted on NPR. I was listening to a segment on polling and it's a real formidable industry. Want certain results you pay for it meaning they toss out outliner polls.

They also poll many of the same people over and over to get the same results. They are not going to poll fresh people and screw up their business model. I can talk about this for hours. I did a lot of research but the just of it is the polls are garbage. It would be like the weather man predicting the same weather daily.

When I had a landline telephone I had people calling me trying to poll me every election year. I always told them it was nobody's business whom I was voting for.

You'd be surprised how many people actually DO respond to those polls. I have 2 daughters that work for a company that conducts polls- one has been doing it for 1 1/2 years, the other just started a few weeks ago. It's decent pay and they work from their homes so no need for babysitters or daycare.

And all the polls in 16 said that Clinton was going to take it all .

Seriously it was the most messed up thing I ever saw. There was literally not a negative entry.
I got one from Biden camp too, ended up being a plea for donations
