Wisconsin's Democratic governor, Tony Evers, and particularly the court who forced the April 7th Democratic primary to go forward, should take personal responsibility for the (at least) 7 Covid-19 cases that have been linked directly to the in-person voting that occurred on that day.

MILWAUKEE — Officials have identified seven people who appear to have contracted the coronavirus through activities related to the April 7 election in Wisconsin, Milwaukee's health commissioner said, and advocates worry that they could be just the "tip of the iceberg."
More at: www.nbcnews.com...

By the way...here's some background. On April 6th (AM), the governor suddenly wanted to delay the Primary to June. On April 6th (PM), the Wisconsin Supreme Court ruled that it was too late to delay...The election must occur on April 7th, as scheduled/planned.

From a legal/lawsuit standpoint, how much responsibility lies with the Governor/Court, and how much lies with the 7 infected voters? They didn't HAVE to leave their house and stand in line to vote. Right?

Seven voters, in the entire state?

That's horrific. We should keep trashing the economy...

The liberals will keep screaming, for mail in voting. The elections will be incredible... we should let "Columbia House" manage the ballots... send them out in the "Parade" magazine that accompanies so many Sunday newspapers.

No hanging chads... just affix the stamp of your favorite candidate, on the mailer. If you select a "preferred" candidate, you get seven more votes for just one penny! (Plus $19.95 S&H)

What could possibly go wrong?

So 7 people are attributing it to voting out of how many voters. 7 people could have died in car accidents going to vote but regardless, no way to prove they got it voting. Dumb outrage since there is no way to prove they got it voting. They could have got it grocery shopping or at the hardware store. If anyone can't see the stupidity in this outrage they should not be voting at all.

Just because seven people went to vote and wound up with the virus does not mean they caught it at voting. On top of that, it was a primary, they did not need to go vote. It is your right to vote, you are not being forced to vote.

It was incredibly stupid, for sure.

The governor tried to push for vote-by-mail. The supreme court overruled. From your link:

The state's Democratic governor tried to shift the election to vote-by-mail and postpone it, but he was blocked by the conservative majorities on the Wisconsin Supreme Court and in the Republican-controlled Legislature, prompting the chairman of the state Democratic Party to warn that voters would die as a result.

Let' entertain not voting in person under the current system that produced the crown jewel of Broward County on why we vote in person; unhinged voter fraud. Nevermind another country hacking an online system. The current system doesn't even verify all absentee ballots. They sample some and call it a day.

It would take years. Years to implement another system taking into account legitimate concerns without even addressing the current concern of absentee fraud. Why would anybody want an election with those problems. Oh, that would be to conduct massive voter fraud and ballot harvesting.

Appear to have contracted the corona virus?
May have contracted the corona virus?
Possibly have contracted the corona virus?
Apparently have contracted the corona virus?

Nice try.
The governor intentionally waited, and called for postponing around 10:30 AM the day before the polls opened at 6:00 AM.

The Supreme court only had the option of interpreting the law, not re-writing it.
This should have been requested by the Governor weeks prior.

This is/was complete inaction on the governors part, and he needs to be held accountable.

Like we're supposed to believe all of a sudden one of the liberal news outlets is telling the truth???

So what is the point here, how the hell can they say they got it from voting? Did these people sit in their house for 2 weeks with zero contact from the outside to just go and vote and then straight back home into isolation to get sick 5 days later? Were these high risk that ended up in the hospital where just about all the testing is done?

IDN either way I look it seems like pure partisan narrative no matter which way you spin it.

Yep, and all the areas that condensed voting are having spikes. We are only going to see more. Does not matter if it is 7 or 1000 some people will never believe it until they personally have it.

Democrats will do anything to push forward with vote by mail-in to help them steal the election.

Since only 0.03% of Americans have been killed by the Flu and Covid-19 combined, it doesn't matter how many "catch" either one.

Only rabid politicians, Mainstream Media, and easily manipulated people, think either disease is a "crisis".

Thanks, so there's no way one of them incurring $50,000 in medical bills, or dying, would entitle anyone to sue the Governor or Court that forced the election to occur...even though the state was on lock-down?
