Yes more people die of curable diseases worldwide everyday than the total number of people who have died of Coronavirus to date. We just signed a 2 trillion package to fix our economy, because we shut it down out of panic for our own lives.

I imagine 2 trillion dollars could have easily built a worldwide infrastructure that could have helped the world to end unnecessary deaths to curable diseases.

It’s pathetic. Especially the commenters who hide their fear and selfishness behind “what about grandma”.

To the OP, the overhyped Coronavirus is good for ratings, it just took Fox a few days longer to realize that and jump on this ratings train. But I will still take Fox over CNN whose only objective is to attack Trump no matter how many lies they have to tell.

No those are not lies.

In the beginning I believe the president was basing his comments on the known information. I don’t believe he knew that the hospital system would become burdened by this.

Making a statement about something based on current information and then changing ones opinion based on new information makes the first statement uniformed which is not the same as telling a lie.

And we are doing quite well against this virus compared to other countries. Our hospitals are stressed but currently not overburdened even in the hardest hit areas. And the issues are being addressed as quickly as possible.

His comments have been very consistent about trying to assure the American people to stay hopeful and positive without panicking.

Other than changing his response and stance to the impact this could have on hospitals and health care based on new information he hasn’t changed what he has been saying since day one.

But CNN and other news agencies have the truth sitting on their desks and continue to tell lies knowingly, for ratings and political propaganda.

This is a real virus, it's killing real people .
I'm pretty pessimistic because of people thinking it's a hoax or a nothing burger, doctors and nurses all round the world have been voicing concern just like that nurse is in queens, it's only just taking off in New York, it's going to rip through there like a hot knife through butter.
