Isolated? Easy way to home school

I've created this thread to instruct parents on easy ways to home school during the isolation, stay-at-home demands made upon us.

I saw this and wanted to share.



As I come up with more tips, I will post them.

Oh, very nice. I always had a hard time creating a visual for half-3/4s ! We were fine using quarters, but the notion was lost on fluids.

Saved the day, do hurry back with more, we are stumped on toilet paper fractions.

Since the kids will not be getting any credit for homeschooling, and now the shelter in place rules seem to be in effect....

TEACH YOUR KIDS HOW TO COOK

Disclaimer...(how can parents who don't know how to cook teach their kids how to cook.)

This is not medical advice..someone who does not know how to cook and decides to try anyway can cause serious health risk to themselves and their children. Follow the instructions on the recipe correctly, and beware that there are fire hazzards from cooking.

You really want to mess with kids while they are home?

Show them how to darn a sock. (with the lightbulb!)

I just gave my kids a couple of cans of snuff and some sharp knives and told them to keep themselves occupied.
