If you were forced to die from... what would you choose?

So you get to do what ever you want within time to prepare your own last meal with a "very sharp knife", but you will eventually die from a choice of this list.

1. Extreme Radiation Sickness

2. Highly Toxic Chemical Gas

3. Suffocation from lack of oxygen(I don't mean by pillow, but could be near a high altitude toxic volcano or a room that runs out of oxygen)

4. Massive untreated bacterial infection

5. Viral infection

6. Hunger to death(right after your last meal)

7. Freeze to death in a cold mountain

8. Parasites eating your insides slowly with pain until it hits your brain

9. Getting stuck under a vehicle and dragged for miles before death.

10. Spore infection that keeps growing out of you.

Second the freezing one. Right about when everything is nearly numb you just get sleepy, and than off into eternity you go as the frost bites your heart and brain.

A doctor told me kidney failure is one of the best ways. Basically go into a deep sleep, painless. He said that is the way he would want to go. Not sure if true but he is a damn good surgeon and likely knows his stuff.

I plan on dying wielding a flaming sword while on the back of a dragon fighting an alien UFO filled with vampire-mimes.

Here, I expected you to be fighting mimes, not clowns.

LOL yeah I was thinking over-exhaustive sex with an insatiable punk rocker or roller derby chick if Jenna Elfman isn't available LOL , arriving and departing showing my "Oh" face.

otherwise out of the choices freezing is likely the least painful or stressful, as you pointed out.

1. Extreme Radiation Sickness Id imagine it would be an agonizing death, filled with pain.

2. Highly Toxic Chemical Gas Same here supposedly violent and painful

3. Suffocation from lack of oxygen(I don't mean by a pillow, but could be near a high altitude toxic volcano or a room that runs out of oxygen) Again once you can't breathe that death panic has to be excruciating

4. Massive untreated bacterial infection sounds long and agonizing in its own right

5. Viral infection see above

6. Hunger to death(right after your last meal) long term slow dying nope

7. Freeze to death in a cold mountain

8. Parasites eating your insides slowly with pain until it hits your brain creepy

9. Getting stuck under a vehicle and dragged for miles before death. painful and terrifying

10. Spore infection that keeps growing out of you. see creepy

You left out being eaten alive which for some reason is my greatest fear of dying, especially in a croc filled swamp where I cant get to dry land.

Was in a fire as a kid and wouldn't wish to go that way on anybody unless the smoke gets you first.

Been knocked out in car and motorcycle accidents so those might be the best quickest no pain. Just a brief oh # BAM

How to choose ?

They all sound so awesome !

How to choose ?

At least no horrific choices were offered.
Like: getting eaten by a chicken, or...

Odd, how there were 3 different 'You're gonna fricken' die' threads tonight...

Tetnis from a rusted metal scratch while in severe drug withdrawls having seizures, delirium, lockjaw.

Homeless without medical care until I'm found for old petty warrants gotten from life on the streets, then alone in a cell. No socks or underwear in a jumper on a metal bed, staring at the wall listening to jail chaos, waiting for my slice of bologna, american cheese, and piece of cornbread in the morning.

In bed or in combat.

I need no explanation for it. If I have to go, I want it to be peaceable or in one hell of a fight.

From the list, then freezing, definitely.

I almost went that way due to living in a tropical environment and then returning to the Midwest and taking a short walk thinking I had the same metabolism I used to have, only wearing a medium thick jacket in sub zero windchill.

I ended up sitting down, thinking I'd take a nap and it became warm, drowsy and pleasant. Obviously, I was rescued... by a frantic family member who knew I'd be in trouble and the pain of life returning to my extremities was memorable. But it wasn't a bad way to pass after the initial shivery unpleasantness.

The myocardial infarction, M, is famously painful and rarely fast.

Alternately, I'd go for passing in one's sleep or opiate overdose... essentially the same thing.
