Please....no mac and cheese for Christmas!!!!!

I'm leaning more toward a nicely braised red wine brisket , with halved garlic heads, parsnips and carrots...
and French Apple Cake

There's one of those in Atl. It is Fan-EFN-Tastic. OMG.

As far as MAc and Cheese, gotta mac the crock pot mac and cheese to go with the cheesy potato casserole and rack of lamb.

Oh, and cheesecake. lol

We're doing a USDA Prime graded Rib Roast and Giant Sea Scallops (in butter) with Asiago cheese and a wine reduction. The roast will be served with fresh XXX hot horse radish and some steamed asparagus with a Bernaise sauce (which might accidentally run over onto the prime rib and horse radish!).

My uncle always does a prime rib on either xmas eve or day, and he always ages it for 2-3 weeks.

He shares that and I share the rack of lamb. I actually prefer the prime rib cold the next day, and the lamb is equally delicious cold the next day.
