I wanted to pop in here to wish you all a merry Christmas.

Got woken up at 5 am. Told the kids wait till 7.
The kids opened all their presents.
Now I have to set up all their tv’s, bedroom sets, a gaming chair, and a plethora of other chores.
But it’s a great day to be with the family.

Fresh Applewood smoked bacon! Direct from the smokehouse, not the packaged stuff! Thick sliced too. Whole house smells like smoked bacon right now!

Im on this ketogenic diet... main food groups are bacon, beef, real butter, and bourbon. No nasty beer.. too many carbs. Best diet EVER!!!

Glad tidings to everyone. Those of us fortunate enough to be on staff are all members first. I wouldn't call it thankless. I've been appreciative to be able to interact with some of the best minds on the site and collaborate in an effort to make things better for everyone.

The tough thing is when people, some truly unforgettable, wander away and you're never sure what happened with them. So coming up on 15 years at my Internet home, I'd like to thank those of you here and those gone but not forgotten for adding to the experience.

Boxing Day (whatever that is, lol!)...

Food wise... nothing like a hearty beef stew on a snowy Christmas evening!! Some butter smothered drop rolls on the side... good enough for me!

Fear not! We have Chanhuka, Kwanza, NYE, and NYD to still celebrate and try out more recipes!! And some football games where cheese and bacon are always welcome!!
