Not into VR at this time .
Most VR games are what I call "phone games"
I have had one , yet sold it .
Oculus Rift. ( I hope I spelled it correctly)
What interests me now is The Outer Worlds with the VR support everyone is clamoring for.
If that happens , I may go all out again and purchase both.
For now , my 34" curved does what I want.

I'd prefer Cyberpunk 2077 with VR support , CD Projekt RED have said it isn't planned "right now" but that doesn't mean it won't be coming and if the if the demand is there I'm sure it will happen .... it's CD Projekt.

Cyberpunk 2077 would probably be mind blowing in VR , 4 months and waiting.

hmm... that looks kinda like "no mans sky".... apparently you can play it in VR with Vorpx…

Phone games though? Really? lol

Triple A titles are pretty wild... Not sure how you can call them phone games, Though IF you had the original Rift with all the light houses, and not a great display I suppose I get it

the new Rift is a major jump in Visual clarity... plus no more cords everywhere... just one long cord with a USB 3 and DP

And its not that expensive either... Might want to check it out brother

I just bought a Ryzen 5. I will get an RTX when GTA6 is released. Hopefully it will be a lot cheaper by then.

RTX are as low as 249 now.
I am only going after the 2080 Ti FE cause I like overkill

Tell ya what...
One of my systems has a Ryzen 5 2600x
Freakin lot of bang for the buck.

That's the exact processor I bought lol.

lol... I suppose

But IF you have a powerful PC you can jack the graphics to make it look amazing...

I can make any game beautiful with this lappy, and this is just my social media pc... but it can't do VR well at all

A crusher PC can make any game look amazing in VR

Benchmark it against some of the upper end I7s . You will get a nice surprise....

How about running 2 of those games at the same time ?
Do you consider that powerful ?
I am out of this one...

You'll be surprised how good it is with a nice vCard

You're not wrong there mate , easier on the eyes and smooth as butter.

The Rift S is great , my first experience was with the Oculus First Contact app which I thought was amazing , a great introduction into the world of VR.
Tracking by the inbuilt cameras is swift and accurate and as I'd seen in reviews wearing the headset is comfortable , immersion is complete as I discovered when playing Waltz of the Wizard as I nearly smashed my room light throwing a fireball at some stuff .... Doh !

Just purchased Skyrim VR , I know it's an old game and I've put hundreds of hours into it over several new saves but I just can't resist going back to the old stomping ground in real first person.... it also helps that it's 70% off on Steam.

You rebel you

There are far better flight sims out there, but I have Ace Combat 7 and would LOVE! to try out a VR set with this game.

I don't know what this πŸ‘‡πŸ‘‡πŸ‘‡πŸ‘‡πŸ‘‡πŸ‘‡πŸ‘‡πŸ‘‡πŸ‘‡πŸ‘‡πŸ‘‡πŸ‘‡πŸ‘‡πŸ‘‡πŸ‘‡πŸ‘‡πŸ‘‡

GTX 1060 is minimum spec for most VR games and as I play racing sims the more frames the better

But I'm positive thisπŸ‘†πŸ‘†πŸ‘†πŸ‘†πŸ‘†πŸ‘†πŸ‘†πŸ‘†πŸ‘†
Will make my Metamucil work betterπŸ€—

For the cpu which I'm SO NOT! savy, I've watched others enjoy a very immersive (sight sound) experience on their set ups playing all types of games. As for my laptop, it has a Pentium 3 processor on Windows 10. Not much umff for high end gaming. Solitair and Checkers are Fantastic.

Thanks for posting as I now need to look into this Honda GTX AM radio 1060😊

Don't get me wrong I love my 1060 , I actually felt sad taking it out of the computer case , it is still a great card but a 2060 for Β£280 inc delivery was to good to miss given the Rift and Cyberpunk 2077 coming in a few months.

No i get what you're saying... but again, that is what VR is...

Thats why it oinks down VRam... every time you start a vr app... you're running it twice... plus the flatscreen

Don't know if you've tried this but it's pretty cool , more of an experience than a game but it's free and a nice way to chill for 15.
