i would appreciate if you extended a bit on why people like me are the reason America killed tens of thousands of arabs ?!?

Is that a little anger I'm feeling from what is left from the Spanish-American war...which by chance, also ended the currently popular colonialism of the Spanish 'Empire' at that time?

France: I am not even going here, it's too easy.

I hope you got your warn for this very own post. If not, you deserve twice the pain. Such show of pseudo Neo-Nazi thoughts deserves all my disrespect, but It's worth nothing to point you seem a lot less wiser than you think: Visit all those countries before you post, because on some I have first hand knowledge and you couldn't be more missguided.

The queen sits on her big fat a** all day long and picks her nose, the the UK head of state is such a waste of time, i wish the royals would all just dissapear and give us all peace... all they are now is a tourist atraction for camera happy Japs and 'American Dream' family vacations... any1 seen the griswalds (national lampoons) People like that! with their knee length socks!

Some say the queen does have some influence, i mean the PM meets her every week so there must be something going on, but i doubt very much that she is the decision maker in the UK. Decisions are made by Tony and his cronies, besides we'l have Gordon Brown to deal with next, which will hopefully mean less personal publicity like TB and more focus put on the state of the UK at the moment, like our pants NHS, Currupt councils and privitisation of everything during Tony's reign...

Sigh, What a terrible mess.

I have no endeavor to make confrontation. It's even disgusting you see it that way.

But see, I only missed that exact post, something perfectly understandable as this thread have 5 pages... Yeah, you seem touchy.

About my above comments, It is clear when I started to read, when I ended the whole thread and that I answered all the post that I thought must be answered. If you compare the time of my first post and the final one, you will soon see I didn't allways reed so carefully, but catching impressions on the fly.

P.S.: as an interesting side note, Spanish-American was fueled by the very own 'Citizen Kane': William Herbst. That war not only ended the Spanish Empire, it started the USA Empire. Before the war, USA had great power as a nation but no political relevance. As a result of that war, the USA Navy gave USA the power it has now, being now the Supercarriers the instrument to enforce that gained power.

"I have no endeavor to make confrontation. It's even disgusting you see it that way."

How else was I supposed to see it in light of the questions you further added?

"But see, I only missed that exact post, something perfectly understandable as this thread have 5 pages... Yeah, you seem touchy."

Seems to me Makod, before you made your post, that perhaps, indeed, you should have read the full thread, but instead you decided to "assume"? And you wonder why I'm "touchy".....lol. Far from it but in light of your above comment and lack of research in formulating your "assumption", "touchy" was self-evident.

About my above comments, It is clear when I started to read, when I ended the whole thread and that I answered all the post that I thought must be answered.

And, ultimately, no offence taken....I questioned as you questioned.

The only reason you as a country are being bashed is for your foreign policy. Don't like any of the candidates to White House? Present yourself as a candidate!

And please, I hope you'll be the first USA president that manages to *not get involved in a war*. Sincerously, the ones I had knowledge of during my lifetime were all involved in at least one war. I pray to see the day in which your president no longer needs a war somewhere to maintain credibility.

Yes, I did...and again...your point? Again, as I stated....the comment was uncalled for! Thus the apology. It was a 'dig' and a uncalled for 'dig'. But.......if you so choose to enlighten/comment about the Spanish/American War...do so....I do love various and different views.

Makod,

Your posting on page 4 and then emphasized here was not taken as "you asking for trouble" or in search of it. Your post spoke, pretty much, the truth. Hence no reply. I do find appreciation in the fact that you are not carrying your semtiments for "our" foreign policy(s) into the arena of the American people, as a whole. I, for one, don't agree with all them, but as I have aslo stated, I am an American, and a person, and I am proud of who I am. The foreign policies of this great nation reflect on the nation as a whole but do not speak for the individuals that make up that nation.

Your post, is after all, your opinion and I respect that opinion and in so doing, I thank you for giving one.

*edit* to change caring to carrying.

Why should he? The anti-American vitriol isn't kept in the thoughts of those who hate us. I assume from your comment that you aren't American, yet you see fit to bash the president and can't keep yourself from using publicly unacceptable language while doing so in your signature.
Not only is that hypocritical but also shows that only those who are singing the proper tune are allowed the God-given freedom of speech.

no, i mean .. if you really feel unhappy then do something about it instead of posting crappy patriotic poetry of the lowest quality. By the way, as an american you have currently nothing to be proud of.

[Edited on 9-7-2003 by Mokuhadzushi]

In your eyes, but that is your opinion.

In today's paper you'll notice that a new Iraqi governing council consisting of 22 men and three women, a crossection of Iraqi ethnic and sectarian communities are to step forward as self-appointed policy-makers for their country. They are the interim administration, will hold a constitutional convention make independent elections and make way for a permanent independent and democratic government.
No, nothing at all to be proud of.

Spend less time bashing us and more time doing things for which you may be proud.
